Whether it's the celeb couple welcoming their little one in this world or it's about rejoicing their tiny tots first birthday, the happy news is always the exciting one for us along with their fans. Recently, we shared how Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan celebrated their chubby kid, Taimur's first birthday.

Unlike other birthday parties in hotels and resorts, Saifeena celebrated Taimur's birthday in the legendary Pataudi Palace among their close family and friends only, to beat the limelight from the paparazzi.
The birthday boy was looking no less than a chote Nawab in his waistcoat attire with his chubby cheeks and twinkling eyes. To grace the occasion and be the part of Taimur and Saifeena's big day, maasi Karisma with her kids, Kiaan and Samaria, grandparents Randhir and Babita Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, cousin Karan Kapoor and best friend Amrita Arora Ladak were present. While many of the family members were seen in attendance, it was only Saif's children from ex-wife Amrita Singh, Sara and Ibrahim were missing.
While we wonder if they did not want to be the part of the celebration even if they adore Taimur a lot. As per the reports, sister Sara was busy preparing with the Kedarnath crew and considering it's her debut film, she decided to be available as her director wanted Sara to stay back for some workshops and miss out on the little one's birthday bash.
A source close to them confirmed by saying:
“Both Saif and Sara are close to Kareena and are often seen partying with Saif and Kareena at their Bandra home, so when Sara and Ibrahim didn’t attend the birthday bash in Pataudi, it took many in B-Town by surprise. Both were spotted at their gyms the whole of last week as they didn’t fly down to Pataudi. But before people start thinking there’s a rift between the brother-sister duo and Saif and Kareena, they will be wrong. Fact is, Sara was prepping with the Kedarnath crew as she has been continuously shooting for the film for over two weeks now. While Taimur’s birthday was on December 20, her schedule was for the next few days after that and her director had wanted Sara to stay back for some workshops. It's a challenging film and Sara is completely focusing on her debut film now.”

On the other hand, brother Ibrahim was on his Christmas vacations as he's pursuing higher studies from abroad. So, he decided to spend time with mother Amrita and sister Sara by being home with them. This is what a source close to them retorted:
“Ibrahim is in town on his Christmas vacay as he’s been pursuing further studies in London and he too decided to stay back with his sister in Mumbai as they are very close and spend some time with her. Both Sara and her brother are very close to Saif and Kareena and adore Taimur so if they skipped the bash at Pataudi there is nothing more to read into it.”
While they both missed the birthday bash, they were present at the Christmas get together organised by Saifeena at their Bandra residence.
