Remember how Sara Ali Khan had teased her ‘not so little brother’, Ibrahim Ali Khan with a picture on Instagram from their London vacation? Sara had posted an all-smiling picture with Ibrahim, which had screamed of their unconditional love, but it was her caption that every sister could easily relate to! She had written, “I smile because you’re my brother ...I laugh because there’s nothing you can do about it.” Later, Sara had given us another glimpse of their brother-sister relationship with a Boomerang wherein she could be seen walking alongside Ibrahim and had written, “Shoving me around #asusual” atop of it.
Ever since Sara Ali Khan had made her grand debut in Bollywood with two blockbuster films, Kedarnath and Simmba, we are eagerly waiting for her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan to make his entry in the industry. Ibrahim has always managed to stay away from the limelight but with his old school style game and the royal charm that is reminiscent of the Pataudi brand of sophistication, he seems to be a tough competition to his star family. But looks like our prayers have been answered and Ibrahim made his debut in the glam world by posing with his sister, Sara on a magazine cover.

While Ibrahim is looking dapper in an off-white-coloured kurta with multi-colour embroidery on it, his star sister, Sara has stunned us once again in an orange-coloured full-sleeves collared top with a multi-coloured skirt. Ibrahim’s uncanny resemblance to his dad, Saif Ali Khan and Sara being a carbon copy of her mommy, Amrita Singh, the brother-sister duo truly deserves a hand-heart for their sizzling cover. Sara and Ibrahim became muse for the famous designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. In an interview a few weeks back, Saif Ali Khan was asked by the Hindustan Times, if Ibrahim Ali Khan will too follow his footsteps and join the Bollywood industry. To this, Saif had retorted, “He should, he’s looking good, better looking than I am! He’s a very charming guy. I definitely think all of my children would be interested in acting. We’re an acting family, the whole bunch of us are in the industry. So I’m sure. He’s still a little young, and I’m keener that he does university first. Then, of course, we’ll support him in whatever he wants to do.”
In another throwback interview, Saif Ali Khan had commented on his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan’s Bollywood plans. He had stated, “I’ll be more than happy if Ibrahim, too, wants to join the film industry. Like I told Sara, I will advise him the same — to be really hardworking and focused. He’s extremely young right now. Let him finish university and then, we will see. He is very well behaved.”
In a recent interview with GQ, Saif Ali Khan was asked, "What have you learnt from your children?" To which, he had replied, "From Ibrahim, I learnt how to creatively make up stories to get out of trouble. He’s a master. But he’s also a dignified chap and he plays cricket better. The master of adult manipulation is young Taimur (laughs) who knows how to have his way. And from Sara – saying the right thing and being a politically aware and focused person."
A few months back, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, when Sara Ali Khan was asked about the equation she shares with her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, she had retorted, "Ibrahim’s 18 and we’re very close. There’s nothing about me he doesn’t know while I know just 10 per cent of his life because he can be somewhat shady (chuckles). My mom, Ibrahim and I are a close unit."
Sara Ali Khan was further quizzed if Ibrahim Ali Khan too, wants to join the film industry, the big sister proudly replied that he will be a better actor than her. Sara had stated, “He does and from what I’ve seen of him on stage, he’ll be a better actor than me. Recently he gave me a page from his play. I’ve no idea if he had got his lines right because I couldn’t take my eyes off his face. He’s that good. But wanting to be an actor and understanding what it’s about and knowing this is what you want to do is a journey. I think he’s 99 per cent there.”
On Raksha Bandhan 2019, Sara Ali Khan had showered some love on her ‘not so little brother’, Ibrahim Ali Khan. To mark Rakhi 2019, Sara had posted an unseen childhood photograph wherein little Sara is in awe of her newborn brother, Ibrahim and she had captioned the beautiful picture as “Happy Rakhi to my baby brother. Missing you today- touching my (feet emoji) giving me (money emoji), feeding me (sweet emoji) and hugging me.
