It was on March 2, 2012, when Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali had said ‘qubool hai’ in a nikah ceremony and had started into their ‘happily ever after.’ From past couple of days, there have been reports that have suggested that the duo has parted ways and are even proud parents to a 4-year-old daughter. The couple had once redefined the meaning of love and understanding, but it seems that now the definition of the same has changed for both of them. According to the latest reports, Aamir and Sanjeeda have been living separately for quite some time. And now, according to a Bombay Times report, Aamir and Sanjeeda are proud parents to a four-month-old baby girl and apparently, the couple had opted for surrogacy.
Though, Aamir Ali has denied any such rumours and has said that ‘everything is ok’ between the couple’, but a report by SpotboyE suggests that their friends have also confirmed their separation. A friend close to the couple said, “Yes, the report in Bombay Times today was true. They have a 3-4-month-old daughter. It’s a surrogate baby. Sanjeeda has moved out with the baby to her mother’s place. Aamir continues to reside in the Lokhandwala flat where they had stayed all along after marriage.” Another friend stated, “I really don’t want to talk about this. They might be having issues but I fervently hope that they get back.”
Amidst all these rumours and speculation about their separation and a 4-year-old daughter, Sanjeeda Sheikh took to her Instagram handle and posted a cryptic message. Taking to her Insta stories, Sanjeeda shared a post which reads, “I value my privacy and personal life.” Rumours about their separation had started when the duo had stopped posting their pictures together and where not spotted at any award shows or casual outings. Suggesting differences in the marital life of Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh, a source had shared to a media portal, “Differences started cropping up between them some time ago, but they were trying their best to not let it hamper their relationship. Matters escalated a few days after Sanjeeda returned from a shoot in London in October last year, and she left for her parental home. Though they continued to be in touch for some time after that, they stopped talking to each other over a month ago. Since the differences are a result of minor issues, we are hoping that they will reconcile.” But when Hindustan Times had contacted Aamir to comment on the same, he had clarified, “All was Ok.”
A source told the Hindustan Times, "The couple seems to have mutually decided to separate. They have decided to live and let live. While Sanjeeda’s work has been a good excuse to be apart and gauge the situation, the couple apparently has been facing some personal issues as well. Only time will tell if this arrangement is permanent or not."
In a throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali had spoken about their love and more. When the duo was asked who is more romantic, Aamir had replied, “She is more romantic than me. I have become more romantic post-marriage.” Agreeing on the same, Sanjeeda had stated, “I am. I have known him since the last 10 years. He has changed a lot after marriage. He was never an expressive person, and I think I have helped him become one. I am very vocal about what I feel, and wanted my partner to be like that as well. Now, he has become an expert in surprising me. For me, romance is all about spending quality time with your partner.
