Today, we are focusing on one such couple that includes one of the greatest actors of all-time and an inspiration for many, Sanjay Dutt. On the other hand, we have a strong woman without whom we wouldn’t be able to see Sanjay Dutt getting the happiness and success that he’s enjoying right now. But it wasn’t a cakewalk for both Sanjay Dutt and Maanyata Dutt right from the thought of getting married. The couple faced a lot of objections from the Dutt sisters when they got married in 2008. Their love story began after they were reportedly introduced to each other by producer, Nitin Manmohan in 2006. They made their first appearance as a couple in 2007. The duo is going strong, especially after Manyata gave birth to twins in 2010. The 19-year age gap between Sanjay and Manyata does not seem to affect their relationship at all. And after all these years, here we have these two celebrating their 12th wedding anniversary. Isn’t it quite romantic?
Well, it is indeed and to mark the occasion, Sanjay Dutt posted an adorable video on his Instagram account. In the video, we can see the picture of Sanjay Dutt and his beloved wife, Maanyata Dutt in each other’s arms. Our beloved Baba also wrote some lines for his wife, which can be read as “Don’t know what I would do without you...Happy anniversary @maanayata.” There’s no denying the truth that Maanyata had entered in one of the most turbulent times of Sanjay’s life and helped him grow as a person. In an interview with the IANS, Maanyata had talked about the impact of Sanjay Dutt in her life and how she’s living the best time of her life. She had revealed, “I've never been happier. Sanju has stood by me through thick and thin. I've known him for nine years. We started seeing each other seriously in 2005. But he knew my past. So when 'friends' tried to provoke him he just laughed it off. He knew everything about me. When I was going through hell before my marriage, I'd pick up the phone and ask him for help. We're both very positive people and we like to live and let live. We both believe in forgiving. And we believe every saint can have a past. And every sinner can have a future.”
Also, once in a media event, Sanjay Dutt had titled Maanyata as his pillar of strength and threw light on her immense contribution in making what he is today. He had said, “Maanayata is not my 'better' half but my 'best' half. She is my strength. Whenever I fall, she supports me. I believe she had suffered more than me.
