Lock Upp has become one of the most controversial reality shows on television within just a few episodes. Every new episode unfolds another chapter of each contestant's life. Excessive drama, untold dark secrets, love affairs, and nasty fights are making the show top every chart list. Kangana Ranaut hosts the show, which makes it more interesting for the viewers to watch. One of the contestants in the show is television actress, Payal Rohatgi.
Payal Rohatgi enjoys quite a huge fanbase, and for the last few weeks, she has been hitting the headlines for her strong performance inside the Lock Upp as well as her personal life. For those who don't know, Payal Rohatgi has been dating Arjun Award-winning wrestler, Sangram Singh. A few days back, Sangram had announced that they are going to tie the knot in July 2022.

Now, in an interview with ETimes, Sangram Singh opened up about his thoughts on how his ladylove, Payal Rohatgi has been performing inside the Lock Upp. Talking about the same, the proud fiance, Sangram mentioned that Payal has been showing her true self in the show, and she is not pretending. He even said that Payal cares for everyone and her motherly nature is quite visible in the show. Sangram said:
"Payal is totally real in the show. She's not pretending and is the most honest person. Rest everyone on the show is fake. She doesn't care about the world, if she finds something is wrong she will stand for it and is ready to face the consequences also. The way she has been taking care of people by cooking even though they have humiliated her so often. Even at home whenever our maids don't come, she cooks food and takes care of the entire house. That motherly nature I can see inside as she cooks food for everyone. But if you poke her unnecessarily she will not spare you."
Further going into the conversation, Sangram mentioned that Payal has all the qualities to be a winner. As he was talking about her, he said Payal doesn't know how to fake a friendship or a relationship. Taking her stand, the boyfriend revealed that they have been together for 12 years and even if they are poles apart, he likes her for who she is and respects her a lot. Sangram said:
"Payal is very real and doesn’t make fake relationships or friendships. But Munawar, Anjali, all these people are together just for the sake of the game and nothing else. I’ve been with Payal for the last 12 years, I respect her a lot. We both are poles apart in nature. I love the fact about Payal that if she is wrong, she is ready to apologise and we as humans make mistakes. I am proud of Payal that she has the courage and strength to stand against the bullies. She has all the qualities of a winner."

A while back, when Payal had confessed about doing vashikaran puja, her boyfriend, Sangram had taken her side and had revealed that she doesn't believe in superstitions. In an interview with The Times Of India, he had said that at some point, she got swayed away and had done this. The wrestler-boyfriend had shared:
"If you work hard, no one can stop you from growing in life. She was naive and got swayed by someone at that point."
