Coming to her personal life, Sangeeta Bijlani was once head over heels in love with Bollywood actor, Salman Khan. As per reports, they started dating in 1986, when both began their modelling career. However, even after being all set to get engaged, Sangeeta had walked away from the relationship at the end moment. Later, Sangeeta tied the knot with cricketer, Mohammed Azharuddin on November 14, 1996, at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. However, after being in marital bliss for quite some years, they divorced each other in 2010, due to Azhar's alleged relationship with badminton player, Jwala Gutta, which the player however denied.

On December 27, 2022, Salman Khan turned 57 and he celebrated his birthday with his family and close friends. Amid the number of guests, Salman’s ex-girlfriend, Sangeeta also turned heads as she attended the event in a royal blue-coloured, sequined short dress. Sangeeta looked stunning as she nailed the sexy dress at the age of 62. In addition, in a video from the event, Salman was spotted giving a tight hug to Sangeeta and kissing her on the forehead.
