TV actress, Sanchita Ugale, best known for her role in the popular TV series, Kumkum Bhagya, tragically passed away on June 14, 2026. According to reports, Sanchita died by suicide and was found dead at her residence in Nalasopara, Mumbai, on June 14, 2026. Sanchita’s untimely death left her family heartbroken. Sanchita’s close friend, Megha Sharma, revealed that she was undergoing treatment due to depression. Now, 48 hours after her tragic death, an alleged chat conversation between Sanchita and her psychologist has surfaced.
Sanchita was just 22 when she took such a drastic step to end her life. Now, 48 hours after her untimely death, Sanchita’s alleged chat with her psychologist surfaced. It is allegedly the WhatsApp chats between the actress and her psychologist. If a report of Zee News is believed to be true, then these WhatsApp chats suggest that the Kumkum Bhagya actress had been experiencing severe emotional and mental distress in the months before her death. Reportedly, investigators are now examining these alleged chats.

According to the Zee News reports, Sanchita allegedly shared her fear for her future with her psychologist. She reportedly opened up about disturbing dreams and expressed concern that "something was seriously wrong" with her mind. Due to this, Sanchita allegedly doubted whether she could perform her professional duties. The Kumkum Bhagya actress allegedly described herself as feeling "completely lost" and said her mental condition had not improved for several months.

In the reported chats, the psychologist advised Sanchita to begin online counselling sessions. The psychologist allegedly assured Sanchita that they would work together to identify the root cause of her difficulties. Speaking of the following, Sanchita’s close friend, Megha Sharma, opened up about treatment. She was quoted as saying:
"I am in deep shock and out of words. She had some health issues and had been suffering from depression since January 2026. She had some personal reasons and was undergoing treatment."

Sanchita appeared to be happy, but deep down, she was not okay. Her father also opened up about the following. In an interview, Sanchita’s father revealed that even when Sanchita was in a good mood, she would feel depressed. After going through her social media handles, some captions caught our attention. It allegedly hinted at her mental health issues. On February 6, 2024, the 22-year-old TV actress shared a carousel featuring herself.

In the caption, she wrote, "Take all your worries to the beach and wave them goodbye…." A few days later, on February 22, 2024, Sanchita shared another carousel featuring some monochrome pictures of herself. She captioned the post as, "Monochrome pictures, colourful life. Last night at #zeerishteyawards." She captioned another post from July 2024, "Less colour, more emotions."

Sanchita began her acting career with small roles in TV shows. She rose to prominence with the role, 'Diya Tandon' in the hit TV series, Kumkum Bhagya. She also appeared in TV shows, including Wagle Ki Duniya and Crime Aaj Kal. She was reportedly last seen in the TV series, Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, co-starring Sorab Bedi. She had also tried her luck in films. She starred in Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and played the role of 'Tarabai'. Sanchita also shared screen space with renowned actor, Manoj Bajpayee in Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout.
