Sanchita Ugale's Cousin Brother Shares Actress Was Pressurised In The Industry, 'Meri Behen Ko..'

Sanchita Ugale died by suicide at her home at Sai Santoshi Building in Achole village, Nalasopara East, on June 14, 2026. Now, her cousin brother, Akash Satish Ugale, has mustered the courage to speak about what led to Sanchita taking the extreme step as he deals with the grief of losing his cousin sister.

Sanchita Ugale's cousin brother revealed that the actress was pressurised in the industry

Sanchita Ugale's cousin brother, Akash Satish Ugale, had drawn parallels between the demise of his sister and that of Bollywood and TV actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, back in 2020. In an interview with the ANI, he stated that big stars such as Sushant and others whose names can be Googled died by suicide due to pressure. Sanchita's cousin brother also revealed that he, Sanchita's family and friends feel that the actress took the extreme step due to pressure in the industry. In his words:

"Hum, hamare mitra group, family ko bhi yahi lagta hai ki meri behen ko ess industry se bahut pressure kia ja raha tha."

Sanchita Ugale's cousin brother, Akash Satish Ugale, urged Prime Minister Modi, President Draupadi Murmu, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to look into Sanchita's suicide case. Sanchita Ugale's cousin brother was convinced that Sanchita and Sushant's deaths were linked, as both had reportedly faced pressure from the industry. Sanchita's bereaved brother, in an interview with IANS, revealed that just like Sushant, his sister was also pressurised in the industry. She could not handle the extreme pressure and hence took her life. He made an eerie reference to how his sister and Sushant died by suicide on the same date, just six years apart.

Well, according to police officials, Sanchita's death by suicide had taken place on the evening of June 14, 2026. Investigators had found that the actress was reportedly asleep at her home and was found hanging from a ceiling fan, which was in her bedroom. She had reportedly worn a saree when she took the extreme step. Sanchita had locked her room from the inside, and her family members had soon rushed her to a Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation hospital. There she was declared dead.

Sanchita Ugale had once revealed that she did not get enough rest

Sanchita Ugale, earlier in an interview, had revealed the challenges she had faced in her personal and professional life. She revealed details when she was shooting for her TV show named, Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi. The actress mentioned that managing her personal life was challenging due to 17 to 18 hours of shooting each day and travel time. Due to this particular reason, she barely got any proper rest. Sanchita Ugale became famous due to her role in Kumkum Bhagya. The actress was reportedly 22 years old while some claim she was aged, 30. Sanchita was also famous due to her character, 'Diya Tandon' in Kumkum Bhagya and was known as 'Ruchita Jaitley' in Wagle Ki Duniya. She was also seen in Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi.

Sanchita Ugale had also revealed that she could not look after her health, nor spend time with her friends or family. Sanchita revealed that she used to try to take rest on the sets whenever possible and had said that she keeps in touch with her family and finds ways to manage the same. Sanchita Ugale had also shared that initially she had not shared her acting dreams with her family. This is because she came from a lower-middle-class family. However, when she started getting roles, Sanchita's family showed her support.
