The phase of motherhood seems really rosy but the reality is completely opposite to what it looks like. Being a mother is not a cakewalk as she has to be on her toes 24*7. From sleepless nights to staying hungry for a long time, a mother sacrifices all her comforts for her children. When a woman embraces motherhood, she is often sceptical about being able to fulfill all her duties but with time, she not only manages to cater to every need of her children but also aces her role as a mommy. And one such doting mommy of the glamour world is actress, Sameera Reddy. (Also Read: Milind Soman's 81-Year-Old Mother, Usha Soman Celebrated Her Birthday Doing 15 Push-Ups [VIDEO])
Sameera Reddy has been an inspiration to all the mothers, who are dealing with the ups and downs of pregnancy. Sameera had embraced motherhood for the first time on May 14, 2015, when she had welcomed her baby boy, Hans Varde. On July 12, 2019, Sameera had become a mother for the second time as she had welcomed a little princess and had named her, Nyra. A doting wife and a caring mother, Sameera has always been a mommy to look up to.
Since the global pandemic was announced, schools are shut and kids are attending online classes. But more than the kids, it is their mothers, who have been on their toes. From sitting with them throughout their online sessions to preparing their study materials, mothers are keeping up with the new normal. On July 6, 2020, Sameera took to her Instagram handle and shared a video, wherein her daughter, Nyra was seen enjoying her brother, Hans’ online classes. Along with the video, Sameera penned a note on how badly she struggles with Hans’ online classes. Her note can be read as “Monday morning like this. What are your views on online school? I can’t tell you how we’ve struggled. Our mornings have been crazy messy!”
The messy mama, Sameera's note further focusses on the struggles she faces everyday while keeping up with Hans’ classes and making it her new normal. Her note continued, “I’m trying to wrap my head around what’s the right way especially when as a parent I never encouraged this kind of screen time before. He has had trouble focusing and I’m down two coffees and trying to focus myself… we have to be present through the class which is incredibly challenging. Schools are making a massive effort and teachers are doing their best its hard on everyone. I hope we can get past all this soon. Is this the new normal?” (Also Read: Sussanne Khan Calls Pinkie Roshan 'Sweetest Mama' As She Get Inspired By Hrithik's Motivational Post)
Sameera Reddy is a hands-on mother, who always shows her creative side when it is about her kids. On April 23, 2020, Sameera had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a collage of the childhood pictures of her kids, Hans and Nyra. In the picture, we could see Hans and Nyra sporting the same onesie. Along with the collage, Sameera had written a heart-melting note on how she had kept Hans’ onesie for her second child but was sceptical due to her postpartum blues. Her note could be read as “Hans2015 & Nyra2020. Same Onesie Two babies! This onesie is so special to me because I held on to it since 2015 Wanting another child but having postpartum blues and telling Akshai back then I didn’t have the courage to have a second baby. And here we are in 2020.”
In a special JioSaavan podcast on Raising Parents, Sameera was invited and she had talked about the expectations and pressures that a lot of young parents face after entering into parenthood. She had discussed about the challenges of parenting the 2020 generation and had retorted, “Parenting is not an easy journey with the 2020 generation. It’s the only role you play with no script in place. Right from getting your child to sleep through the night, to equal parenting, to raising a picky eater, body shaming, to rediscovering yourself after motherhood is all exhausting and few speak about it.” (Also Read: Namrata Shirodkar Managed To Click A Photo Of Her 'Elusive' Son, Gautam, Calls It Her Lucky Moment)
