For Indian comedian, Samay Raina, 2025 was not at all a good year. This is because he got embroiled in India's Got Latent controversy, which was, like, the worst phase of his life. Samay had to delete all the videos of his show, India's Got Latent, with multiple FIR's and legal charges being pressed on him. Samay Raina further admitted that he had made the apology video six times and that he had not seen it since then. In the clip, the first time he said, "Hello doston kaafi kaand hoh chuka hai." Samay then realised the way he was saying sounded funny, so in the next take he said, "Doston mei ek show karta hu. India's Got Latent. Uski wajah se kaafi logo ko hurt hua hai." Samay did agree that he closed his eyes in the clip, as he was mentally very disturbed.

He even remembered the time when he used to only put heart emojis on his channel in search of love and support from his fans.
