Samara Weaving met Jimmy Warden on the set of The Babysitter in 2015. However, there was no speculation or buzz about the two dating at the time, as the couple kept their relationship under wraps, which they continued to do for two years before going Instagram official in 2017.
The couple continued their low-key relationship and then surprised the fans with the announcement of their engagement in 2019. Samara shared the good news with fans in March 2019, sharing a picture of her and Jimmy Warden with the caption, "So here goes! Jimbo and I are engaged!! Let’s party, my loved ones!! P.S.: you know you’re loved when you can eat a ham and cheese toastie in bed, and your fiancé says that’s beautiful."
Keeping up on the trends, Samara Weaving and Jimmy Warden got married in a private ceremony. Rumors of their marriage began in May 2021. However, they never made an official announcement. "When I'm away or if Jimmy's away shooting, we try not to go two and a half or three weeks [without seeing each other]. We do daily jokes too. Like, voice notes of just jokes."
The couple also revealed that they are anti-"don't go to bed angry". Samara and Jimmy revealed that that's because it gives them some time, and most of the time the issue resolves itself. Jimmy reflected on the same and said:
"We go to bed annoyed, and then we wake up, and we're like, 'Why were we annoyed?' A lot of people talk it out until it's 2 a.m. and we're just like, 'No, let's just go to bed.' "
