Samantha Ruth Prabhu Took A Jibe At Sobhita Dhulipal Over Wedding Remark? Says 'It Won't Go Well..'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is enjoying the success of her superhit film, Maa Inti Bangaaram. Apart from this, the actress is all set to embrace motherhood, and fans are super excited as they know how eagerly she wanted to hop into this phase. In fact, Samantha was planning parenthood with Naga Chaitanya, but destiny had other plans, and they parted ways. While the ex-couple have happily moved on in their life, their names are still often taken together.

Fans wonder if Samantha Ruth Prabhu seemingly took a jibe at Sobhita Dhulipala

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently talked about a relationship, and many people are wondering if she might have taken an indirect dig at Sobhita Dhulipala, who is her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya's wife. During a recent interaction, Samantha talked about her career and her relationship. She revealed that a relationship is not always in your hands, and it might get complicated. She stated:

"Career and your relationship are in your hands. But sometimes, relationships are complicated and it’s not always in your control. It takes two people to make a relationship work. So, what I have understood is that, as a woman, you need to have confidence in yourself and be complete as a person."

However, Samantha made sure not to name anyone during her interview. But her comments left many wondering if it was a direct dig at Naga Chaitanya's wife, Sobhita Dhulipala. Many believed that it might be reaction to Sobhita's statement made by her in her wedding video. Samantha further revealed that there comes a point when you find the right person, but if you look for someone who complete you then it won't go well. She said:

"At one point, you will find the right person. But if you look for someone else to complete you or wait for that person to complete you, then, it won’t go well. This is because expectations will increase on the opposite end. That’s not right."

Sobhita Dhulipala's statement

As soon as the video surfaced on the internet, social media users shared their opinion. One user wrote, "Damnn If I remember, Sobhita said ‘he completes me’ or something like that in her wedding video. Is it just me, or was she referring to that lol." For those who don't know, when Sobhita got married to Naga Chaitanya in 2024, she made a statement and shared how it she felt complete as an individual with Naga Chaitanya and his importance in her life. Sobhita shared that a person is incomplete and someone else comes in to fill the void. She said:

"I believe that a person is incomplete and someone else comes in and fills the void… Because I think we are complete on our own. And yet, in his absence, I would not be full."

The timing of the statements and how Samantha passed the remark makes people wonder. But it could be simply Samantha's own thoughts and personal experience with. For those who don't know, Naga Chaitanya tied the knot with Sobhita in 2024, but he received major backlash for the same, and people kept comparing his second wedding to his first one. 

Talking about Samantha, she got married to Raj Nidimoru in December 2025, in an intimate Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore, and now they are all set to welcome their first child. Samantha confirmed the same during a press conference after the success of her film, wherein she talked about taking a maternity break.
