On October 12, 2023, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had taken to her IG handle and revealed that she was in the hospital and getting treatment amid her battle with myositis. In the picture, the actress was lying on a hospital bed with drips attached to her hand. Atop the photo, which has now gone viral, Samantha penned details about the various advantages of the medical help she is getting at the hospital.
Naga Chaitanya fell in love with Samantha Ruth Prabhu on the set of their film, Ye Maaya Chesave, and the duo tied the knot in 2017. However, troubles soon emerged in their paradise, and the couple decided to part ways after almost four years of marriage. The news of the power couple's divorce shook the nation, and their fans wondered what went wrong. Soon after that, Chaitanya’s name was linked with actress, Sobhita Dhulipala, and speculations about their closeness and dating took the internet by storm. But neither Naga nor Sobhita reacted to their relationship.

Taking to her IG handle on July 13, 2023, Samantha shared a picture of herself with the filmmaker duo, Raj and DK, as well as screenwriter, Sita Menon. Along with the post, Samantha penned a caption talking about her hiatus from acting. Expressing her views about the same, she added that taking a break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all and penned:
“A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never ever giving up on me... I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud... Thank you for the role of a lifetime... i.e until you write me the next.”
On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in Raj Nidimoru's directorial, Citadel, alongside Varun Dhawan and Sikandar Kher.
