As per a report in BollywoodLife, an insider revealed that the Citadel: Honey Bunny actress doesn't want to keep any connection with her past. The source revealed:
"Samantha will never talk about her past and she wants the chatter only around her professional life, Sam and Chay have both moved on, and they want their fans to get over them as well and not hope for any reconciliation."

Samantha and Naga came under one roof at the same time for the Amazon Prime event after their divorce. Talking about the same, the source mentioned that though there were many speculations of the ex-couple bumping into each other, they didn't meet each other. The source added that Samantha is focusing on her career and said:
"Recently, at an Amazon Prime event, too, Sam and Chay both planned their schedules and made sure they did not bump into each other so that they would not be written about. Samantha has come a long way and is coping with her health. She is extremely focused only on making her acting career stronger."

The actress revealed that soon after her and Naga's separation, her health deteriorated, and her work was immensely affected. Reflecting on the difficult times she went through in the last two years, Samantha said:
"When I hit an all-time low of, well, a failed marriage, and my health and work were getting affected, it was like a triple whammy; boom, boom, boom. You know, people go down for far less than what I endured for the last two years or so. During that time, I read about actors who have gone through health issues and made a comeback, or suffered trolling or anxiety. And reading their stories helped me. It gave me strength to know that if they did it, I can, too."

However, in the last few months, reports about Samantha and Naga's patch-up rumours have been doing rounds in the media. It started when a Reddit user dropped a screengrab of Samantha's IG handle. As per the source, Samantha had unhidden her old photos with Naga. There's no denying the fact that such an incident left people speculating if the couple is planning to patch up.
