Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were once the most loved couples in the Indian film industry. However, destiny had some different plans for them and just a few days before their fourth wedding anniversary, on October 2, 2021, the duo officially announced their separation. But during their relationship, Samantha had inked some tattoos related to her ex-husband, Naga. Later, despite their separation, we spotted Samantha flaunting them at various events. Now, in her latest photos, it seems she removed one of her tattoos from her rib area.
On October 10, 2023, Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram handle and shared some stunning photos of herself from a Dubai event. In the photos, she donned a pink-hued saree and was seen flaunting her curves. However, what caught everyone's attention was the tattoo she had related to her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya on her ribs, was missing. Now, it seems either she has removed it or the tattoo has been covered by makeup or photoshopped.

Earlier, Samantha was spotted in London, promoting her international series, Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. During the course of the event, in one of the pictures of the actress, she was seen flaunting her 'Chay' tattoo on her rib. Samantha was wearing a uniquely cut black outfit, and at that time, she didn't even try to hide her ‘Chay’ tattoo on the right side of her rib, despite her separation from Naga Chaitanya.
A couple of months earlier, Samantha Ruth Prabhu interacted with her fans on Instagram through the ‘Ask Me Anything’ session. Thus, her millions of fans got the golden opportunity to ask various questions about her personal life too. One user asked her, "Some tattoo ideas you’d love to try some day". To which the actress wittily mentioned that she would like to tell her younger self never to get a tattoo. She mentioned:
“You know the one thing I’d tell my younger self is never ever get a tattoo. Never. Never ever. Ever, get a tattoo.”

Samantha reportedly has three tattoos that are somehow related to her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. First, she has a 'YMC' tattoo on her back, based on her acting debut in the film, Ye Maya Chesave, co-starring her ex-husband. Next, she has a tattoo mentioning 'Chay' on the right side of her ribs. Although, it is now uncertain whether she has removed it or not. And on her right hand's wrist, she has a similar tattooed symbol, just as Naga Chaitanya has on his right hand. Check out:
