Actor, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is all set to enter the OTT world with Prime Video’s Telugu original series, Dhootha. After enjoying a film career of over a decade, the actor will once again prove his mettle in the supernatural suspense-thriller, and his fans are excited for the same. Produced by Sharrath Marar, the web series will stream in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, starting December 1, 2023.
Naga Chaitanya plays the role of a journalist in his debut OTT show, Dhoontha. Ever since he parted ways with his former wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the actor has been part of several media reports involving speculation about his personal life. However, Naga says that the reports about his personal life never irks him and that the constant media scrutiny doesn’t bother him beyond a point.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Naga Chaitanya reflected on the media scrutiny around his personal life. When the actor was asked his views about the intrusive media reporting, Naga shared that he wants to be known for his craft rather than the problems in his personal life. Talking about the same, he said:
“I really don’t bother about it beyond a point. People close to me will know the truth. Apart from that, I want to be known for my work as an actor more than what’s happening in my personal life. So I try to focus more on my craft, let the movies do the talking. At the end of the day, if my movies are great and entertain the audience, that’s what I want them to remember me for.”
Earlier, in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about her failed marriage with Naga Chaitanya for the first time and revealed how it impacted her. The actress revealed that soon after her and Naga's separation, her health deteriorated, and her work was immensely affected. Reflecting on the difficult times she went through in the last two years, Samantha said:
"When I hit an all-time low of, well, a failed marriage, and my health and work were getting affected, it was like a triple whammy; boom, boom, boom. You know, people go down for far less than what I endured for the last two years or so. During that time, I read about actors who have gone through health issues and made a comeback, or suffered trolling or anxiety. And reading their stories helped me. It gave me strength to know that if they did it, I can, too."

Naga Chaitanya fell in love with Samantha Ruth Prabhu on the set of their film, Ye Maaya Chesave, and the duo tied the knot in 2017. However, soon troubles started emerging in their paradise, and the couple decided to part ways, after almost four years of marriage. The news of the power couple's divorce shook the whole nation, and their fans were wondering what went wrong. Soon after that, Chaitanya’s name was linked with actress, Sobhita Dhulipala, and speculations about their closeness and dating took the internet by storm.
