Samantha Ruth Prabhu Asks Fans To Not Get A Tattoo, After Having A Few, Related To Naga Chaitanya

Popular Indian actors, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya had got married on October 6-7, 2017, in a two-day destination wedding in Goa. However, after being in marital bliss for more than four years, the ex-couple had parted ways, breaking millions of hearts of their fans. Post their separation, the ex-couple had maintained their sanctity towards each other's decision of separation and are concentrating on their respective professional lives now.

For the unversed, on October 2, 2021, just a few days before their fourth wedding anniversary, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, had officially announced about their separation. They had taken to their respective social media handle and had shared a picture message issuing a joint statement regarding their divorce. The picture message could be read as:

"To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought, Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us."

Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu interacted with her fans on Instagram through the ‘Ask Me Anything’ session. Her millions of fans took this opportunity to ask various questions about her personal life. One user asked her, "Some tattoo ideas you’d love to try some day". To which the actress wittily mentioned that she would like to tell her younger self never to get a tattoo. She mentioned:

“You know the one thing I’d tell my younger self is never ever get a tattoo. Never. Never ever. Ever, get a tattoo.”

For the unversed, Samantha has three tattoos that are somehow related to her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. First, she has a 'YMC' tattoo on her back, based on her acting debut in the film, Ye Maya Chesave, co-starring Naga. Next, she has a tattoo mentioning 'Chay' based on Naga's nickname, on the right side of her ribs. And on her right hand's wrist, she has a similar tattooed symbol just as Naga has on her right hand. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is an avid social media user, and she often shares glimpses from her life. However, as per a report in India Today, she had unfollowed her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya, on her Instagram handle, although the latter still follows her. Soon after unfollowing him, Samantha had taken to her IG handle on March 23, 2022, and had shared a cryptic picture message on her stories revealing about 'keep going in life'. Atop the picture, she had also mentioned, "#mymommasaid", hinting that it is a piece of advice given to her by her mother. Samantha's picture message could be read as:

"Sometimes, the strength within isn't a big fiery flame for all to see. Sometimes, it's just a tiny spark that whispers ever so softly 'keep going, you got this."

Naga Chaitanya had also opened up about parting ways with his ex-wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. In a media interaction during the promotion of his film, Bangarraju, Naga had mentioned their mutual decision behind it and had said:

"It is ok to be separated. That is a mutual decision made for their individual happiness. If she is happy, then I am happy. So divorce is the best decision in such a situation."

On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in the film, Kathuvakkula Rendu Kadhal, and Naga Chaitanya will be seen in his OTT debut series, Dootha.
