Salman Khan's thin appearance sparks health concerns
Recently, Salman was spotted at the office of the Slum Rehabilitation Authority, where he inaugurated the authority's state-of-the-art Data Collection and Verification Support Centre. Several clips of the actor surfaced on the internet. But all eyes were on the way Salman looked, thin with an unkempt beard.
Social media users started questioning if their favourite superstar was going through health concerns. One user wrote, "He Looks Sick… God bless you." Another user pointed, "He is looking sick some health issue I guess”. One asked, “What happened to Salman Khan?? At first I thought it's not him but saw shera too there. He is ageing like Dharmendra."

Not many know that Salman has been dealing with trigeminal neuralgia, which is an extremely painful chronic facial pain disorder. It is often also called the suicide disease. In this condition, a person goes through intense, electric shock-like pain on one side of the face. Those suffering from this condition often experience severe discomfort while eating, chewing, speaking or even touching their face due to disrupted nerve signals.
It is also stated that the intense pain could affect a person's way of living severely. Last year, Salman talked about his journey as he battled the condition on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna's talk show. He revealed he first underwent bouts of pain while shooting for Partner in 2007.
He accepted that a person starts living with the condition. He added that many people cope with bypass surgeries, heart ailments, and other health issues. Salman stated that the pain is so severe that he doesn't wish it even on his enemies. He said:
"I had it for seven-and-a-half years. It used to hurt every four-five minutes. It would happen suddenly, while talking... It used to take me about an hour and a half to have my breakfast, and I used to go straight to dinner. For an omelette, because I couldn't chew it, I had to force myself, hurt myself, take as much pain, so I could get rid of the meal."
