Salman Khan Names His Luxurious Rs. 80 Crore Worth Farmhouse After His Adopted Sister, Arpita Khan

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan is not just known for his strong and charming screen presence but also for his heartfelt and grand gestures. While the superstar is known for films like Sultan, Kick, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Tiger Zinda Hai and more, his 150-acre farmhouse has often made headlines. However, a recent gesture by Salman towards his sister, Arpita Khan has grabbed attention.

Recently, a report by Money Control claimed that Salman Khan has named his 15-acre farmhouse, 'Arpita Farmhouse', after his sister, Arpita Khan. Reportedly, the farmhouse is worth Rs. 80 crore and it is one of Salman’s most valuable and personal assets. Salman Khan's special gesture spoke volumes about his bond with his sister. For those who do not know, Arpita is Salman Khan's adopted sister.

Salman Khan’s bond with Arpita Khan

For the unversed, Salman Khan shares a beautiful bond with his sister, Arpita, who was adopted by the superstar at a very young age. Since the beginning, Salman Khan was often seen as very protective towards his sister. Over the years, he has often been described as a father figure to Arpita. Eventually, Arpita received constant love and attention from the actor. Reportedly, Salman Khan also supported her education and celebrated her milestones.

Talking about Arpita Khan, she is married to Aayush Sharma. The pair tied the knot in 2014. They also have two children, Ahil and Ayat. It is worth mentioning that Salman Khan played a big role in Arpita's wedding. Reportedly, Salman and Sohail Khan already knew Aayush before Arpita got married to him.

When Salman Khan shared his first reaction on Arpita and Aayush's relationship

During an old interview, Salman Khan had opened up about his first reaction after knowing about Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma. He had shared that he and Sohail had heard about Aayush before. At that time, Sohail was planning a film, My Punjabi Nikaah and he thought Aayush was a good choice. It is worth mentioning that Sohail had seen the Loveyatri actor in a gym. 

Salman Khan continued to reveal that a few days later when Arpita Khan introduced Aayush as the man she wants to marry, the superstar instantly recognised him and asked if he was the same guy from the gym. During an old interview with Indian Express, Salman Khan had shared:

"One day Arpita called. I stayed just one floor below her, but since, she called us, we all went to meet her. And, we see this boy standing with Arpita, my father and my mother. We had seen him around earlier too. And then Arpita said, ‘Dad, I want to marry him.’ I asked her if he was the guy from the gym, and she said yes. I asked Sohail if he was the same guy he thought of for his film, and he said yes."
