The Khan family has not released any official statement regarding Salim Khan's health. However, according to multiple reports on the social media, Salim Khan's health condition is serious. Salim Khan's health condition gets serious due to a blood clot?

According to a recent report by journalist, Vickey Lalwani, Salim Khan has been diagnosed with a blood clot. He was feeling very giddy before he was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. The journalist also mentioned that the veteran screenwriter is in the ICU and that his vital signs appear stable. However, according to a News 18 report, Salim Khan's health condition is serious. A senior doctor at Lilavati Hospital, who remained anonymous, said he is in the ICU and asked the media to contact his family representative. Efforts to contact Salim Khan's family representatives to obtain a formal statement have been ongoing.

News about Salim Khan's hospitalisation has been ongoing since February 17, 2026. This was after paparazzi spotted Salman Khan entering and exiting the Lilavati Hospital premises, which soon surfaced on social media. This had prompted speculation about a medical emergency in Salman Khan's family. Soon, the Bollywood industry learned that Salman's dad, Salim, had been admitted to the hospital, which drew widespread concern among his fans and well-wishers.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Salim Khan is not doing that great, as he is 'serious'. The report also mentioned that Salman Khan has dropped all his personal commitments to be next to his father, and the entire Khan family is very concerned about Salim Khan's health. A close friend of Salman Khan told the publication:

"Salim saab’s condition is serious. We are all concerned and hoping he would get back home the soonest."

However, it is worth noting that neither Lilavati Hospital nor anyone from Salman Khan's family has issued any official statement regarding Salim Khan's hospitalisation or his latest health update. For the unversed, on the morning of February 17, 2026, Salim Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai. Salim's eldest son, Salman Khan, was seen at the hospital. The Battle Of Galwan star was seen at the hospital wearing a simple back T-shirt, a cap, a mask and was surrounded by his security guard.

Salim's other children- Arbaaz, Alvira and Arpita were also seen at Mumbai's Lilavati hospital. Well, the real reason Salim has been admitted has not been clarified. No official medical bulletin has been released, and the hospital has maintained full confidentiality related to Salim Khan's health. Now, those who are close to the Khan family have said that they have been requesting privacy for the family until a clearer picture of his health condition is given.
