The long-haired man, Mahendra Singh Dhoni from Ranchi has made the entire world swoon when he entered the Indian cricket. However, he is not just a good cricketer, who has a perfect command on his bat, but he is also a doting father to his little angel, Ziva Singh Dhoni and the perfect husband to Sakshi Singh Dhoni. We remember on his birthday (July 7, 2019) this year, we had seen a beautiful cake cutting ceremony, wherein Dhoni's face was covered in the cake.
Today, on November 19, 2019, Dhoni's wife and his 'life', Sakshi is celebrating her 31st birthday and the cricketer made sure to mark her birthday with the must-have cake cutting ceremony. Sakshi took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture with Dhoni and her daughter, Ziva from the intimate celebration. Take a look at the picture below:
For those who don't know, it took Dhoni a lot of hard work to woo the love of his life, Sakshi and to upgrade his status in her heart. The couple successfully kept their love hidden from the media glare until they had exchanged wedding vows on July 4, 2010, in the presence of their family. Once in a media interaction, Mahi had praised his wife and was then quoted as saying, "Sakshi provides the spark I might sometimes need. Jokes aside, she is the person to whom I have a reference. She is both loving and inspirational. Sometimes she travels with me, but cricket is easier without having to ensure her safe passage. One day, we will see the sights together and she says that then, can she please move to number two on the list of my priorities! But for the moment I am here to play cricket. I have been given this honour to play for my country, so I want to see it through."
In another media interaction, Dhoni had gone on to reveal how his wife, Sakshi comes third in his priority list after his country and his parents. He had said, "I love my country. I tell my wife she is only the third most important thing after my country and my parents, in that order. The point is that while I am an Indian cricketer, I will devote myself to that cause. Cricket is not everything, not by any means, but it is a large part of who I am. Therefore, I want to play in all formats of the game and to play as much as possible because before longing it will be over. Then I’ll focus more on the Army."
