Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are known as the epitome of soulmates. The duo never skips a chance to paint the town red with their adorable bonding. For those who don't know, it was in 2012, when Saif tied the knot with the love of his life, Kareena. After that, the duo became parents to two adorable kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan. Time and again, Saif and Kareena proved that they are made for each other. However, in a recent conversation, Saif Ali Khan revealed an unheard anecdote from his dating days, when Rani Mukerji gave him advice after she learned about the actor's relationship with Kareena.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor recently graced the final episode of the show, Now Bingeing. While conversing, Saif Ali Khan heaped praise on Rani Mukerji. For those who don't know, Saif and Rani used to be one of the favourite on-screen pairs of the 90s kids. However, talking about Rani, Saif called Rani 'amazing' and said that he loves being friends with the actress. However, Saif also revealed one of the advice that his Hum Tum co-star had given him.

The actor mentioned when they were shooting for a film, Rani asked him if they could wrap things up really quickly as she was far away from the love of her life. Speaking along the same lines, Saif Ali Khan also mentioned that Rani had told him that she is happy about the fact that the former is going out with Kareena Kapoor and provided him with a piece of advice by saying 'Think of it as two heroes at the home'. Saif said:
"But she said this thing, we were shooting I remember, and she was away from the love of her life and she was like 'Lets just shoot non-stop really fast and finish this and let's not take a day off' and she also told me 'Oh you're going out with Kareena I'm so happy. I'll give you some advice, just think of it as two heroes in the house."
Saif said that although back then, he partially got what Rani had meant, now he understands that advice reflected that both of the partners should contribute equally to the household. Saif can be quoted as saying:
"I kind of got what she meant, but now more than ever I go back to that advice sometimes. Because it is, it's two people who are equal, who are contributing to the sanity and the sanctity of the home. When one is working the other one is doing that with the children."
On the same show, Saif Ali Khan revealed what Rani Mukerji's advice actually meant was to balance between two of the partners, like if one is working, the other should take care of the babies. Saif mentioned that it was a bit tough to understand what Rani was saying, but what she clearly meant was to bestow Kareena with the respect of equality. Saif stated:
"But I understand it, it was really good advice, it was brilliant advice and it's a complicated thing what she was saying because she was talking about gender, roles and whether you feel -- 'is it okay for my wife to be out of the house working so much while I'm doing this'. And what she meant was of course it is! Just give her the respect of equality, is what she was talking about."

During his stint in Koffee With Karan 8 with his mom, Sharmila Tagore, Saif Ali Khan talked about his wifey, Kareena. Moreover, it was through a video that Kareena sent a sweet message to her saas and patidev. On being asked what Saif means to her, Kareena said that the actor is her whole universe, and her eyes just well up every time she talks about him. In the same video, Kareena split the beans about the time she had fallen for Saif. The actress walked down memory lane and recalled being awestruck after seeing Saif shirtless on the top of a vanity van in Ladhak, and she went like, 'Oh My God.'
