It's 2019 guys! And just like you, our favourite Bollywood celebrities also rang in their New Year bashes in fun-filled parties and vacations to exotic places. One of the most stylish and famous families- the Pataudi trio- Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan celebrated their New Year in style and panache. Kareena's stylist and manager, Poonam Damania, shared a few pictures on her Instagram handle and let the world know how the three celebrated their New Year. Fans know that Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Taimur Ali Khan welcomed the New Year in Europe. Thanks to Poonam, we got our hands on the famous trio and their New Year looks. Kareena sizzled gorgeously in a thigh-high slit dress, Saif looked dapper in his monochrome suit and black trousers along with a bow-tie. Their cutesy 2-year-old son, Taimur kept it casual and looked like a small cotton ball stationed on his father's arms. Take a look at Saif, Kareena and Taimur's New Year looks:
The initiated ones know that Saif, Kareena and Taimur were in Switzerland a few days ago, as part of their Europe trip to celebrate New Year. And guess who accompanied them? Well, it was the philanthropist and the chairperson of the Villoo Poonawalla Foundation, Natasha Poonawalla, her husband, Adar Poonawalla and their two children, Cyrus and Darius. Natasha shared the following snap on her Instagram and captioned it as, "Sledding with the little ones! Our winter wonderland."
For those who do not know, Saif, Kareena and Taimur have been travelling quite a lot these days. Earlier, to ring in Taimur's second birthday, the three flew down to South Africa. They returned to India after a few days to attend the traditional Kapoor Christmas gathering on December 25, 2018. Barely, three days later, they left for Europe to ring in their New Year.
Speaking of travelling, Saif recently shared in an interview as to how does it feel to travel with Taimur. He said, "Despite having the idea of trying different things, we’ve ended up (and my wife is quite annoyed about this) going to the same places and doing the same things every year—London in summer, Gstaad in winter, with some parts of India, like Rajasthan and Pataudi, in between. We would have liked to go to more places in Italy and France—and we will. But you know, there is also something comforting about going to the same places, because the people know you and the hotel feels like home. With Taimur, we also end up travelling with a bit of an entourage. We never travelled light, but after Taimur, we travel even heavier."
Kareena Kapoor, along the similar lines, was quoted as saying, "Well, I’m experiencing motherhood for the first time, so everything with Taimur is a first. Travelling with him is especially new and exciting—even if we’re going to a place I’ve been to before, taking him there makes it so different. I loved the Maldives holiday, loved showing him all these new things and places, and seeing them with him."
In another interview, when Saif was asked what values he would like Taimur to inculcate when he grows up, the Sacred Games star replied, "You have to sit him down, the minute he can understand it. And it'll start with calling the people at home and not yelling. It'll be manners, it'll be Please, Thank You, Aadaab. It'll be discipline from a young age. At least we know these things. These Bombay kids are out of control. He'll be very well behaved. And honestly, if he does his namaste right, he'll score points. Have you seen Sara's aadaab when she was younger? This is it. This is what we need, a nice aadaab from Tim. Tim by the way."
