From romancing each other on-screen to getting a name-tattoo, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's love story is nothing less than a Bollywood movie. The duo is completely opposite - one is calm while the other is the life of every party, despite it all, they fit into each other's world like a piece of a lost puzzle. Kareena hails from the most respected families of Bollywood, on the other hand, Saif is a Pataudi prince with more than 60 movies in his name. Kareena and Saif's love brewed on the sets of Tashan (2008). They were spotted together outside a club in Bandra and the media mills were abuzz with their romance news. Just an year into the relationship, Saif took the bold step of tattooing Kareena's name on his forearm. After dating for five years, on October 16, 2012, the duo had sealed the deal in an intimate wedding.
Today, on October 16, 2019, Kareena and Saif completed their seven years of togetherness. They celebrated the day with a get-together and pictures of the same was shared by one of their friend, Poonam Damania. In one of the pictures, we can see the gorgeous couple cutting a heart-shaped cake with their son, Taimur Ali Khan. Bebo's sister, Karisma Kapoor also wished the lovely couple by sharing pictures from the celebrations and captioned the images as "Happy anniversary to my rocks !! Coming back to their wedding, in an interview, Saif had talked about his relationship. He had shared, "When two actors are in a relationship, no matter what the intention is, there is a great deal of uncertainty. Our wedding resolved that. For me, it is very important to feel calm about the person I am with, and not distracted or worried. If one is happy at home, it shows on one's face, and in one's work. Earlier, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, Kareena had talked about how love brewed between her and Saif. She had shared, "When I thought I was falling, Saif caught me. I’d met him before, but while we were filming Tashan, something changed. I wore my heart on my sleeve! He was so charming; I fell for him hook, line & sinker. I remember while shooting in Ladakh & Jaisalmer, we’d go on long bike rides for some alone time. We’d enjoy the beauty, have great conversations & just bond!"
She had further added, "He’s 10 years older than me & has 2 kids. But for me, he was just Saif–he helped me heal & love myself. Maybe it was the fact that we’re so different–he’s more private & not ‘Bollywoodised’, but I imbibed that from him. I learnt to balance things & not let them get to me. We'd been dating for a while, when he said he’s not 25 & can't keep dropping me home every night. So he told my mom, ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with her. We want to live together.'
