A daughter is usually considered to be her daddy's little princess, and when her father falls ill or gets diagnosed with a serious ailment, the daughter is the one who worries about him the most. Actor and filmmaker, Mahesh Manjrekar is a doting father of actress, Saiee Manjrekar and Ashwamee Manjrekar. However, the father never fails to miss out a chance to express his love for his daughters.
However, it is a difficult time for the Manjrekars as the veteran actor, Mahesh Manjrekar had been diagnosed with bladder cancer. Owing to his ailment, he had to go through a surgery in H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai and is currently recuperating at his home. Now his daughter, Saiee Manjrekar shared an update about his health, and that comes as a sigh of relief for his fans.

When Saiee Manjrekar was approached by the Hindustan Times to know about Mahesh Manjrekar's health, she informed them that her father is doing well. She said, "He is fine now. He's doing much better. Also, the thing is that I can't say anything right now. I don't think dad is very comfortable with anything coming out now."
Going further in the interaction, Saiee Manjrekar shared that she is proud of her father as he is fighting back the deadly disease with a strong heart. Stating the same, she told the publication, "So I am just waiting for him to give his hand of experience and his takeaway from this. To keep the short answer, he has been very strong and I am very proud of him."

Saiee Manjrekar also shared that she would like to respect his privacy and not disclose much about Mahesh Manjrekar's disease. She explained, “But again, if I keep talking about it, I think I will say too much. I am not supposed to be saying anything right now. I respect his privacy and he said not to talk about it at the moment.”
Though the veteran actor, Mahesh Manjrekar couldn't attend the call, he messaged the tabloid with an update of his health and informed them that he is much better now. He wrote, "Yes I did get operated, and I am on the way to recovery."
