The death of a famous Kathavachak of western Rajasthan, Sadhvi Prem Baisa, has raised many questions. The spiritual figure Sadhvi Prem Baisa was found dead under suspicious circumstances on January 28, 2026, at her ashram in Jodhpur. Hours after her death, a suicide note surfaced on social media, which raised many questions. Soon after, the police termed the death suspicious and launched a detailed investigation.
Prem Baisa was brought to a private hospital in Boranada by her father, Veeram Nath, who is also her guru. The doctors declared her dead before trying their level best to save her since there was no movement in her body. After Sadhvi was declared dead, the medical team suggested a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death, but the family initially showed hesitation. The hospital supervisor, Dr Praveen Jain, asked the family to take the body to Mathura Das Mathur (MDM) Hospital. However, instead of taking the body to the hospital, the family took it to the ashram located in Boranada. “I did not get justice while I was alive, at least after my going, I will get justice. I have lived every single moment for the propagation of Sanatan Dharma... Throughout my life, I received the blessings of Adi Jagadguru Shankaracharya, the world's yoga gurus, and revered saints and sages. I wrote letters to Adi Guru Shankaracharya and many great saints and sages of the country, requesting a trial by fire, but what did nature have in store? I am bidding farewell to this world forever, but I have complete faith in God and the revered saints and sages. If not in my lifetime, then after my death, I will surely receive justice.”
May Sadhvi Prem Baisa’s soul rest in peace.
