It was on December 20, 2017, that everyone got a jolt when Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff filed for divorce, ending 8 years of marriage. More so, they have a little angel together, whom they lovingly named, Samairra, whose custody is with Juhi. Nonetheless, it feels better when any celeb couple decides to keep parenting their kid(s) together. Similarly, Juhi too has never become a hurdle between Sachin and Samairra's father-daughter bond.
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Juhi was quoted as saying earlier, “We have sought divorce by mutual consent and our daughter Samaira’s custody is going to be with me. I was very clear right from the start that I will be her sole custodian. Our marriage didn’t work from the beginning. Incompatibility drew us apart. We could never be on the same page. Our backgrounds, mindset, outlook and expectations from life were completely different. We tried our best, but our differences were irrevocable. I have not asked for any alimony because I am capable of taking care of myself. Lately, on May 19, 2019, Sachin spent loving time with his daughter, Samairra. He took to his official Instagram handle and shared a few clicks with the apple of his eyes. He captioned the post as, “Love of my life @samairratales.” In one of the pictures, we can spot Samairra cutting her favourite cartoon character cake. Here, checkout the pictures:
In fact, post her divorce, Juhi had appeared on Rajeev Khandelwal’s talk show, Juzzbaat and there she had openly talked about the same. Juhi was quoted as saying, “I knew Sachin before our marriage but there was no courtship period as such. He expressed his feelings and we got married immediately after that. I was not fully convinced personally but his love was the biggest driving force. I thought that I will fall in love with him, but I still don’t know if I can label it as a love marriage.” She had further added, “After few years of our marriage, our relationship hit rock bottom. It was difficult for me to accept that it’s not working out and I was just struggling to keep it going. Further, she had also gone to share how Sachin was portrayed as a bechara on a reality show that they had done together, “The show that I did was for couples and I had participated with my ex-husband Sachin Shroff. The footage was edited in a completely shocking manner almost as if to change the entire meaning of what was actually happening. I was shown in a negative light to break my otherwise holier-than-thou bahu image, while Sachin was portrayed as a 'bechara'. I was shocked when I came to know that they made me look like a vamp on-screen. It was not a pleasant experience at all.”
A few days back, Juhi had shared a lovely snap with Samairra and had written, “As I close my eyes, my most favorite moments are the ones with you! On the occasion of Mother's Day 2019, Juhi had written a beautiful note for her daughter that could be read as, "Samairra was super excited for the dolphin cruise and so we made sure we planned it for Mother’s Day evening on our trip. And every time a dolphin would jump, Samairra would be jumping up and down excited to have spotted one. And then she told me, “Mumma, I saw Mumma and Ginni, there they are!’ and I saw a baby dolphin with its mother. And in that moment, I had my Mother’s Day gift as my child was looking for us even in the ocean!
