Television couple, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla got married on June 21, 2018, and have been enjoying every bit of their marital lives. They embraced parenthood for the first time on the auspicious occasion of Gurupurab, back on November 27, 2023, when Rubina gave birth to their twin daughters. The doting parents named their princesses Edhaa and Jeeva. From the beginning of her pregnancy, Rubina has been keeping her fans updated with every minute detail. She even worked till the last minute of her pregnancy and was also seen hosting a show, Kisi Ne Bataya Nahi: The Mamacado Show, on her official YouTube channel.

Rubina Dilaik shares glimpses of what all she ate during her pregnancy

Now, taking to her official YouTube channel, Rubina Dilaik shared a Vlog and gave a complete insight into what all she ate during her pregnancy. The video began with the actress showing off her breakfast platter, filled with avocado, a pesto sandwich, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, and a protein shake (that includes milk, watermelon seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, and pumpkin seeds). While showing her breakfast menu, Rubina also flaunted her baby bump in a blue and white floral dress. Next, she showed how her darling husband, Abhinav Shukla, once cooked spaghetti and a special sauce at home, which they were then seen relishing together.

Then, Rubina's video also featured seasonal fruits, which she mentioned was a 'must have' in her pregnancy diet. Next, she can be seen enjoying Mexican cuisine at a restaurant, followed by the then-pregnant actress relishing Tacos and other dishes. She was also seen having a healthy yet scrumptious breakfast that included tea, parathas, taro, and Parsi fereni. Not only that, Rubina also showed her lunch menu, which included homemade rotis, chaas, drumstick sabji, green chili sabji, and dal. Next, her video featured homemade butter and Panjiri ladoos (made from dry fruits) prepared for her by her doting mother to eat during her pregnancy days, and everything looked incredibly delicious. 

Rubina reveals why shedding post-partum weight is a bit difficult now

At the end of the video, Rubina also revealed why losing weight is a bit difficult now. She was seen recording herself at her present times and mentioned that although she enjoyed eating everything during her pregnancy, she is facing a bit of difficulty in losing weight. The actress mentioned how she had gained excessive fat during the same period. However, she also mentioned having no regrets, and said:

“Maine bharpur, jee kholkar khaya hai. And that’s the reason, weight loss karne me ab thoda bahut taqleef ho rahi hai. I have consumed a lot of fat content. But, nonetheless, no regrets at all. I have enjoyed each and every moment of my pregnancy time.”

Rubina Dilaik once talked about experiencing changes in life after becoming a mother

Earlier, in one of the episodes of her chat show, Kisi Ne Bataya Nahi: The Mamacado Show, Rubina opened up about the experiences of becoming a newbie mommy. She mentioned how she didn’t expect her life to change this much after welcoming her baby girls, Jeeva and Edhaa. Adding how it has been difficult for her these days to find some personal time for herself, Rubina said that it was almost after 33-35 days that she could finally take out some time for herself.
