On June 10, 2023, Rubina Dilaik went through a tragedy, as her car collided with another vehicle. Taking to his Twitter handle, the actress's husband, Abhinav Shukla shared the saddening news with his fans and gave his wife's health update. The actor dropped two pictures of damaged cars on his social media handle, sending shockwaves on the internet.

Alongside the pictures, Abhinav Shukla penned a note revealing the details of the accident. He shared that Rubina is doing fine, but she is shocked after the accident, further adding that he took her for medical treatment. Talking about the accident, he shared that the other driver was busy on the phone and jumped the traffic signal, which lead to the collision. However, instead of apologising, the shameless driver was smiling at Rubina. Abhinav's note can be read as:
"Happened to us, can happen to you. Beware of idiots on the phone jumping traffic lights. To top it up standing there smiling. More details later. Rubina was in car she is fine, taking her for medical. @MTPHereToHelp @MumbaiPolice request you to take strict action!"
As soon as Abhinav dropped the pictures on his Twitter handle, his fans were shocked to learn about the tragic news. They flooded the post's comment section and started enquiring about Rubina Dilaik's health.
