Rubina Dilaik debuted into the world of glitz and glamour with the 2008 television daily soap, Choti Bahu. In the series, she was cast opposite Avinash Sachdev, and the duo soon got entangled in a romantic relationship. The couple was often spotted together and left no stone unturned to swoon their fans’ hearts with their romance. However, the duo soon hit a rough patch and called it quits. Recently in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Avinash shared some rare insights of his relationship with Rubina Dilaik.
In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Avinash Sachdev revealed that he had been with Rubina for four and a half years. He shared that their relationship was really good till the time the duo was working in Choti Bahu, after which they both started working on different projects. During this time, their relationship started going downhill, and Rubina became very insecure and possessive.

Avinash added that Rubina and he started dating at a very young age, around 21-22, and they both started getting a lot of fame and money during this time. Talking more about their relationship, Avinash added:
“4.5 saal tha Rubina ke saath. 21-21 saal ki age mei uss relationship mei chale gaye thhe, sudden fame aagaya tha life mei. Unki life mei bhi, sudden paise aagaye. Jaab tak choti bahu chal raha tha, fir who koi aue show kaar rahi thi aur mei koi aur show kaar raha tha, toh cheezin badal gayi. Insecurity aagayi, possessiveness aagayi. Meri side se nahi tha.”

Netizens soon took to the comment section, expressing their disapproval of Avinash’s allegations against Rubina Dilaik and hailing her husband, Abhinav Shukla, for being by her side throughout. While some tried to defend Avinash, stating that he was sharing his point of view, others bashed him for always blaming others.

Though Avinash Sachdev and Rubina were together for quite a long time, the duo has now parted ways and has moved on in their lives. Avinash is rumoured to be in a relationship with his Bigg Boss OTT 2 co-housemate, Falaq Naaz. On the other hand, Rubina is happily married to Abhinav Shukla, and the duo just welcomed their twin daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa, on November 27, 2023.
