Rubina Dilaik is one of the most loved actresses in Telly world. She rose to become a notable face in every household, courtesy of her iconic shows such as Choti Bahu, Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Punar Vivah amongst many others. Currently, the diva has been enjoying some of the most beautiful moments of her life, fulfilling mommy duties for her twin baby girls, Jeeva and Edhaa. For the unversed, Rubina and her husband, Abhinav Shukla got promoted as parents back in November 2023.
Recently, while speaking with Mr Faisu, Rubina Dilaik opened up about embracing motherhood in her life. The actress was asked if she faced any societal or family pressure to have a child at a certain period of time in her marriage. To this, the actress revealed how she and her husband, Abhinav Shukla have always been mindful to prioritise their own well-being first, before planning to have a family. Calling it a conscious decision without getting pressurised by others, Rubina shared:
“Hum woh pressure lete hi nahi hai. Mai aur Abhinav, as a couple, abhi bhi, always been mindful ki humare liye, humara waqt, humara ek dusre ko samajhna, family ki ahmiyat kya hoti hai, pehle usey samajhna bahut zaroori hai. Uske baad we decide whether we want a family or not. It was a conscious decision. Koi dabaav mein aa kar nahi kiya hai.”

Moving further in the conversation, Rubina Dilaik recalled her pregnancy journey and credited her husband, Abhinav Shukla for being her biggest support. The doting wife revealed how her husband wilfully left his spontaneous nature and instead transformed himself to become more patient, a quality that is needed in every parent. Adding how Abhinav Shukla transformed from a boyfriend to a father right before her eyes, the actress said:
“During pregnancy, the way he has been patient, the way he has been present every time, and the way he's been appreciative is commendable. Kyunki mai jaanti hun Abhinav is a spontaneous guy. Main jaanti hun he is full of energy and he cannot contain himself in one place. But iss poore journey ke dauran aur mai jab dekhti hun, mai unse kehti hun ki you were a good boyfriend, you are a better husband but I think you are the best father.”
Previously, in an interaction with popular YouTuber, Mr Faisu on his vlog, Rubina Dilaik was quipped about her plans to return to work, especially on the television, now that she had embraced motherhood. To this, the diva stated that television has been ‘bread and butter’ for her, something which gave her the very recognition she enjoys now. While she dismissed plans of quitting television, she also added that she might experiment with different mediums of entertainment hence forth.

In one of her previous vlogs on her YouTube channel, Rubina Dilaik walked through the rigorous weightloss journey she undertook, that enabled her to lose about 11 kgs within 55 days post her delivery. The actress remarked how she made a benchmark for herself to fit in an old dress, which was of her original size. In her words:
“55 days have passed since the time I have delivered and since the time I have been blessed with two beautiful miracles, my daughters. I had promised myself that within three months, I would resume my work. I had kept an old dress for myself, which is my size. I used to wear it before conceiving. So I kept that dress aside, thinking that I would wear this dress within three months. I will work hard."
