The actor left fans surprised when he confirmed, during a candid conversation at the premiere of his upcoming movie, Heartland, that he is off the market for good! He claimed that he has tied the knot with his lady love, although he refrained from mentioning her name, leaving everyone curious about her identity.
Before Ross Lynch got married, he was in a long-term relationship with Jaz Sinclair. The two reportedly broke up after dating for almost five years.
Why did Ross Lynch and Jaz Sinclair break up?
Ross Lynch and Jaz Sinclair had amazing chemistry when they starred together in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in 2018. As fans gushed about the pair, it did not take long for them to take their romance off-screen. On New Year's Eve of 2019, Ross and Jaz were spotted kissing each other, confirming that they were a real couple.
However, when rumors were running rampant that the two were an item, Ross initially claimed that Jaz was his “closest friend right now.” While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, he confessed that she was among the few actors who “hit it off” when they first met.

Sources later told Us Weekly that Ross Lynch and Jaz were spotted “sitting on a couch together, his arms were around her waist.” They added that the duo was also looking into each other's eyes with their noses touching and then giggling. Since then, Ross and Jaz frequently posted tributes to each other on social media, revealing how much they mean to one another. In a 2020 Instagram post on Ross’ 25th birthday, Jaz penned a sweet note that read:
“I never knew that love was a thing that chooses you until you wandered into my life. You’re my best friend and favorite person. My smile is its brightest when you’re close, my laugh the loudest, and my heart the fullest. I feel so loved, heard, and seen by you, and it’s a pleasure getting to have so much damn fun together every day.”
Ross posted similar tributes for his then-girlfriend, with captions like “She makes me so happy” and “Squinting cause she shines bright.” But despite what appeared to be a picture-perfect relationship, by 2023 rumors began to spread that Ross Lynch and Jaz Sinclair had broken up.
At the time, the duo had stopped posting about each other. Their last posts featuring each other came in October 2022. They had also stopped appearing together publicly.
Fans' speculations that Ross and Jaz had broken up were seemingly confirmed when the actor discussed heartbreak while performing with his band, The Driver Era. In clips shared by those who attended the concert, Ross could be heard saying:
“I didn’t know it could get worse though, you know? The thing about heartbreak is… the only thing that really helps is music.”
The crowd cheered in agreement with Ross’ words. While Ross did not explicitly say if he was discussing his personal relationship with Jaz, fans put two and two together. The duo never officially revealed what exactly led to their split.
