Earlier, in an interview with Zoomtv.com, Sushmita Sen had opened up about her relationship with Rohman Shawl, who is 15 years younger to her. Sushmita had revealed that she had always known that her love story would be one of the most incredible ones. She had further elaborated that falling for someone, who is 15 years younger to her and that too through social media was completely unexpected. Sushmita had also talked about her equation with Rohman and had said that he is quite mature than his age and is content that her relationship with Rohman is not shallow. On Rohman's relationship with her daughters, Renee and Alisah, the diva had shared that together, they make a great team.
In an interview with Anupama Chopra, Sushmita had revealed that Rohman had initially hidden his age from her. The actress had said, "He was so nice, open and so kind. And initially, he kept hiding his age for some reason. I would keep asking him, 'So, how old are you? You look so young.' And he'd be like, 'You guess!' Later I realised how young he was as to why he didn't want to get that in the way of this conversation. So yeah, we did not really choose this, it was chosen for us."
