Kennedy Suarez's move to Georgia reportedly strained her bond with Mitte
Mitte and Kennedy initially lived together at his home in Brownsville, Texas. However, their relationship reportedly became strained after she moved to the Atlanta area in late December 2025 for work. Although her job was expected to be remote, she did not come back to Texas full-time.
Eventually, the geographical distance allegedly became a source of disagreement between them. Things escalated when Mitte refused to relocate to Georgia.
According to the sources, the couple had been facing relationship challenges since at least August 2026. It was just weeks before his death. Sources also claimed that Kennedy had stopped wearing her engagement ring on some occasions. In fact, she allegedly claimed that she feared it being robbed.
For now, there is no clarity on the exact status of their relationship before Mitte's death. However, the disagreements were one of the concerns about the challenges he was facing before his death. Some earlier reports also suggested that Mitte's relationship issues went beyond the couple's disagreement over their living arrangements. Sources claim that Kennedy also pressured the actor to choose between her and his mother, Dyna, and sister, Lacianne.
However, Mitte, who shared a close bond with his family, did not agree to cut ties with his family. Insiders also reveal that his mother initially welcomed Kennedy, but their bond changed after Mitte told her about the difficulties in their relationship with Kennedy. Later, Dyna sat down for an interview with NBC News and admitted that Mitte was facing pressure to balance his relationship and his family.
However, Dyna emphasized that she did not want her son to feel that he had to choose between the people he loved. Dyna admitted that she had noticed warning signs in her son's behavior. In turn, she encouraged him to visit a therapist.
For those who don't know, Mitte was found dead at his home in Brownsville on October 12, 2026. His mother found him after she became stressed when he failed to reply to her messages after a difficult weekend. The authorities have confirmed that Mitte died by suicide. The actor was best known for playing 'Walter White Jr.' in Breaking Bad.
After the 34-year-old's death, reports claimed that Kennedy was not invited to his celebration of life. She did not attend the gathering, and sources claim that Mitte's family had not communicated with her after his death. When Mitte's mother was asked about the situation by The Hollywood Reporter, she hinted that some matters were private and she did not intend to discuss them. Dyna made no comment on the status of the couple's bond at the time.
