Popular television actor, Rithvik Dhanjani is going through a tough phase right now after he confirmed on March 10, 2022, that his grandmother is no longer with him in this world. The actor shared the sad news with a lengthy emotional letter on his social media handle. Talking about Rithvik's personal life, in the year 2020, he had broken the hearts of millions of showbiz fans when he had announced the end of his relationship with Asha Negi.
However, soon after that, reports had started emerging that after Rithvik Dhanjani's breakup with Asha Negi, he is reportedly in a relationship with singer, Monica Dogra. Although, none of them has confirmed it so far!

On March 10, 2022, Rithvik Dhanjani took to his Instagram handle and shared two pictures with his grandmother, Usha Dubey and confirmed the heartbreaking news of her demise. In the first picture, Rithvik can be seen smiling as his grandmother had put her hand on his head while posing for the camera. In the second picture, Rithvik posed alongside his grandmother and grandfather. However, it was his painful note in the caption in which he opened up about his grandmother's role in his life. The actor recalled how she always had his back and called her 'magic maa'. His note can be read as:
"You were an angel who raised me with your magic maa, I've lost a part of me today. I know you'll be making the gods smile with your presence and will overfeed them with love on a plate, they'll be happy that they have their mum back with them. Just watch over me from where ever you are."
Rithvik Dhanjani was extremely close to his grandmother, late Usha Dubey and no wonder it is a traumatic moment for him. Rithvik is a family-oriented person, who never misses a chance to make each and every member of his family feel special. Time and again, we have seen him pouring his immense love on his parents, siblings, and loved ones. For instance, on May 1, 2020, Rithvik had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a cutesy boomerang video, where he could be seen kissing his mother on her cheeks while she held a piece of cake and smiled for the camera. Along with the video, Rithvik had penned a heartmelting note for his mother, who had turned a year older. His caption could be read as:
"Some imperative teachings of these times are celebrating your loved ones...It was mumma's birthday 2 days ago, but cherishing your loved ones is not bound by time and date... it's now a mandate.. Pick up a phone on someone you love, see their faces with the perks of technology, hold on to them if they are around and tell them you love them.. Happy birthday mumma!!"

Rithivik Dhanjani had thanked his mother on the occasion of her birthday back in 2018 as well. On April 29, 2018, he had taken to his IG handle to share two pictures with his mother, thanking her for raising him like a prince and turning him into the man that he is now. Along with the pictures, he had written:
"Mumma, just this one word is enough to describe our existence, our soul purpose in life...to the woman who raised me like a prince...to the woman who made sure I be the man I am today...to the woman who I not just love but worship...To the most beautiful woman in my life...happy birthday mumma!!"
