In just 48 hours, we lost the two renowned actors, who changed the way we see cinema. One was hailed as a loverboy, the other one took the 'common man' and its struggles in the limelight. On April 29, 2020, Irrfan Khan had breathed his last at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital. His sudden demise had left our heartbroken, but then came the second bolt of thunder on April 30, 2020, when Rishi Kapoor left for the heavenly abode. Within just 48 hours, we lost two prominent superstars of our industry. No amount of words and quotes can ever describe the pain we all are going through. It looks like God is making a difficult film that's why he took our favourite actors.
While scrolling through our news feed, we spotted an uncanny similarity between these two legends, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. Netizens are shocked by the fact that Rishi Kapoor, who was born in '1953' passed away at the age of 67, and Irrfan Khan, who was born in 1967 passed away at the age of 53! On April 30, 2020, Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar took to her Facebook account and penned her last goodbyes for the great soul. She shared an unseen picture with Irrfan, wherein she can be seen hugging him. She posted the image as her profile picture on the social media networking site. Along with it, she wrote, "I have not lost I have gained in every which way."
On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor's wife, Neetu Kapoor had shared a heartbreaking note on the actor's demise. It can be read as "Our dear Rishi Kapoor passed away peacefully at 8:45 am IST in hospital today after a two-year battle with leukemia. The doctors and medical staff at the hospital said he kept them entertained to the last. He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents. Family, friends, food and films remained his focus and everyone who met him during this time was amazed at how he did not let his illness get the better of him.
