Riddhima Kapoor's Heartmelting Letter For Late Dad, Rishi Kapoor, Is Every Proud Daughter Ever

One of the most loved couples of B-town, veteran actress, Neetu Kapoor and late Bollywood star, Rishi Kapoor's love story is an inspiration. The adorable couple had tied the knot on January 22, 1980. They were blessed with two kids, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, on September 15, 1980, and Ranbir Kapoor, on September 28, 1982. However, after living a merry life with his loving wife and kids, it was on April 30, 2020, when everyone's favourite Rishi Kapoor had bid adieu to the world after a tough fight against cancer.

Though Rishi Kapoor's journey had ended in 2020, his loving wife, Neetu Kapoor and kids, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, have treasured him in their memories forever. Since his demise, they have been keeping him alive in their hearts by sharing glimpses of their precious memories. And now, late Rishi Kapoor's last film, Sharmaji Namkeen, is all set to hit the theatres this month, and his daughter, Riddhima, shared a heartfelt post for the same.

A few hours ago, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to her Instagram handle and shared a heartmelting post dedicated to her late father, Rishi Kapoor. In the post, she shared a picture message which read as "LEGENDS ARE FOREVER", and in the following picture, she shared an unseen picture of the late Rishi Kapoor from his last film, Sharmaji NamkeenAlong with the post, the proud daughter wrote a lengthy note for him, which could be read as:

"It's been almost two years since dad left us physically, but his charisma is still felt, and his legend is still alive and will forever be. Today, as I watch the last film of my father, actor par excellence, a devoted son and brother, a doting husband and the most wonderful dad in the universe; I feel immensely proud of being his daughter! Paresh Ji thank you for completing the movie. The family will always be indebted for your kind gesture #sharmajeenamkeen @pareshrawalreal @ritesh_sid."

September 4, 2021, had marked the 69th birth anniversary of Rishi Kapoor and his daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, had penned a heartmelting wish for her late father. Taking a trip down the memory lane, Riddhima had posted an unseen throwback picture with her papa, where the father-daughter duo had struck an uncanny resemblance. She had captioned the picture as: 

"Hi Papa… We celebrate you everyday! We miss you & we love you! Heaven's brightest shining star! Happy birthday! Love you to the stars & beyond… Always… forever Mushk."

Riddhima had also taken to her IG stories and had shared a picture of Rishi kissing his granddaughter, Samara Sahni, with a series of heart emoticons.

Riddhima couldn't attend her father's funeral due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, she had penned an emotional eulogy for her papa. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a selfie with Rishi and had written:

"Papa I love you I will always love you - RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday! I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you! Until we meet again, papa I love you - your Mushk forever." 

Riddhima's heartmelting letter to Rishi, speaks volumes about her bond with her late father.
