Whitney Rose and Justin Rose are “living separate lives”
Whitney Rose and her husband, Justin Rose, tied the knot back in November 2009. Over the years, they have welcomed two children. Currently, sources close to the couple revealed to Page Six that they have both expressed their “frustrations” about their marriage while speaking to their loved ones. A source even claimed that the reason they are continuing “existing” as a couple is “for the sake of their kids.
Reportedly, after 16 years of marriage, Whitney and Justin are “living separate lives” right now. One insider spilled, “They are never together, even when they are in the same place, like the gym.” Referring to RHOSLC, they added that the “show is bad on relationships.”
It is worth mentioning that Whitney had previously acknowledged in her anniversary post from November 2025 that she and her husband had “been through” quite a lot of stuff together. Still, they chose to love each other “every step of the way.” While what she said sounded remarkable, many fans noticed that Justin was missing from the reality star’s latest Instagram dump, although he did hit the like button.

For those who missed it, Whitney had shared an 18-slide carousel where she listed all the people as well as the things that brought her happiness and joy. Alongside the pictures, she wrote in the caption:
“This summer I have been enjoying the simple things that bring my life the deepest sense of happiness and joy. Time with my family, Bobbie & Brooks, sunrises, sunsets, food, golf, friends, mountains, sunshine, and healing.”
Meanwhile, another insider told the outlet that Whitney had barely been at her and Justin’s shared home before Season 7 began filming at the end of February 2026. Production of the show wrapped up in May of the same year, with new seasons typically dropping in the fall.
Is financial stress causing the breakdown of Whitney Rose and Justin Rose’s marriage?
According to the sources, financial stress has played a part in Whitney and Justin’s marriage slowly breaking down in the last couple of years. In March 2022, Justin had been fired from his role as a senior executive at LifeVantage Corporation, a direct-sales health and wellness company. For those unaware, this was just after the couple’s infamous “Love is Art” scene aired as part of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 2.
As part of the intimacy exercise, Whitney and Justin had stripped down to their underwear, following which they covered each other in body paint. After becoming the president of Awakened, another health and wellness direct-selling company, Justin claimed that his former bosses couldn't “make this continue to work” because his wife was a “public figure.”

Being fired had resulted in Justin being out of work for a year. On the show, Whitney had admitted that this period significantly affected their relationship and household dynamic. While speaking with her co-star Angie Katsanevas, she said:
“It was our anniversary. I just asked, ‘Do you still wanna do this?’ He was like, ‘Do you?’ I was like, ‘I don't know.”
Additionally, Whitney had also suffered a “devastating” financial loss of more than half a million dollars when she rebranded her natural skincare line to Wild Rose Beauty (WRB), which she then merged with a new entity, Sõl People. She had admitted to her castmates in Season 6 that she had a “business that failed” and that “now we have nothing.”
