After a long-term live-in relationship and a super-romantic proposal in one of the most dreamy cities of the world- Paris, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu finally tied the knot on Januray 25, 2015.
The pre-wedding celebrations included the bachelorette party thrown by Soha's friends and the mehendi ceremony. Their wedding was a low-key affair that took place in the presence of family members and a registrar. The reception party of the couple was attended by a lot of celebrities from Bollywood. So, here are some exclusive details of Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu's wedding.
Soha and Kunal's wedding was a private affair, and they had a registered marriage at their Khar residence. In fact, it was already mentioned by Soha earlier that it will be a "small wedding in the presence of the family members". During the wedding, a registrar and Soha's family members- brother Saif Ali Khan, sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, mother Sharmila Tagore and sister Saba Ali Khan were present.
The gorgeous bride wore an off-white lehenga with an orange dupatta while her groom donned a white and gold sherwani teamed up with a silk safa.
Following the private wedding ceremony in the morning, Soha and Kunal had their wedding reception the same day. While Soha looked stunning in a gold and pink lehenga, Kunal complemented her outift with a pink pocket sqaure.
Their reception party was attended by their close friends from the industry, who came to shower their blessings to the newlywed couple.
Since Soha is going to start shooting for Ghayal 2 in February, the newlyweds would be postponing their honeymoon for some time. In a recent interview, Soha has confessed, "No honeymoon right now. We'll plan something fun when the weather in Europe is better, perhaps in summer.”

Well, it is for sure the entire family would be missing the presence of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi during such a happy occasion. Even Sharmila Tagore said, “I am very very happy and we are celebrating. Responding to the news of this formal engagement, Soha and Kunal's families have expressed their happiness quite openly. Mother of the bride-to-be, evergreen actress Sharmila Tagore, has been quoted as saying, "Everyone in the family loves Kunal. We are all very happy that he and Soha have finally decided to get married. Kunal is a very nice person. He will keep my daughter immensely happy.”

For me, that's the biggest step." She further added, “For me, this is the biggest commitment and we have made this commitment to make things work. The formality is just associated with signing paper, but the value and commitment is more important to me.”
