There are a million and one things to be done to ensure that the wedding ceremony goes off smoothly. But, it may seem that most of them remain undone on the night of the wedding.
Just relax! Remember the time when you used to get nervous the night before your exams when you were a student? A little bit of nervousness is natural and only to be expected, especially the night before your big day.
So, here are six ways you can relax and destress the night before wedding:
A wedding planning checklist always helps to clarify things. So, take a pen and jot down everything that you need to take along with you to the wedding venue next day. Write down everything you may need to do the next morning. This will help you organise mentally.
Too many things to handle on your own? As a bride, it is your prerogative to delegate things to your parents, friends, siblings, relatives, or anyone else you trust. They will surely not mind, since these preparations are half the fun of the wedding. Delegate the small tasks that others can take care of, so that you can have a good night's sleep.
Most brides-to-be equate beauty with thinness, and go on a number of diet and fitness regimes just before their wedding to look slim and trim on their wedding day. But, on your last night as a single woman, it is time to indulge a little. After all, you have earned it! So, head over to your favourite restaurant, or better yet, order in some food to be home delivered. You can ask your mom to make your favourite dish. Or, indulge in loads of chocolates. But, make sure you do not go overboard, as you need to look and feel good the next day.
This is your last night as a single girl, so do what makes you happy. A bachelorette party does not necessarily mean that you have to go to a disco and get funky all night long (unless you want to, of course). If you are more of a homebody, then call up your friends and have a fun pyjama party at home, laughing and reminiscing about old times. After all, it will be your last night as a single woman, and you will most likely remember it for the rest of your life.
Talking to your near and dear ones is probably the best stress buster before a wedding. After all, they are the people who know you best and you share so many memories together. And, on a lighter vein, there is nothing quite as relaxing as a good gossip session! So, do not be afraid to share some laughs with your cousins and friends the night before your wedding day.
As you are the bride, all eyes will be on you on the wedding day. People will expect you to be radiant and glowing. And, we all know that a good night’s sleep is absolutely essential for that, especially since you may have spent the last few nights staying up late with relatives and friends, catching up.
The night before your marriage is your last one as a singleton, so make sure you make it memorable! Let us know in the comments section if you can think of other fun ways to relax and de-stress the night before the wedding.
