A few days after Shilpa Shetty Kundra's birthday, the reports of her 'wrecking' Raj Kundra's first marriage with ex-wife, Kavita Kundra had upset the Shetty-Kundra family. Kavita's throwback interview went viral on social media, in which she had blamed Shilpa for 'wrecking' her marriage with Raj. Finally, after maintaining silence for 12 years, Raj revealed shocking details about his first marriage.

In his interview with the Pinkvilla, Raj Kundra revealed that his ex-wife, Kavita brought the worst in him. Raj spilt the details on Kavita's extra-marital affair with his sister, Reena Kundra's husband, Vansh. When Raj and Reena got to know about Kavita and Vansh's infidelity, they had decided to end their respective marriages. Raj didn't speak about it earlier because Shilpa asked him to move on and be the bigger man as he was in a happy space.
When Pinkvilla contacted Raj Kundra's sister, Reena Kundra to know her reaction to her ex-husband, Vansh's infidelity and what she went through when she got to know that he was cheating on her. Reena retorted, "I treated Kavita as my older sister. I loved and trusted her. She and I were very close. I never thought she could do this to me. It was heartbreaking."
To brief you about what happened, when Reena Kundra and Vansh had moved to the UK and were living with Raj Kundra, Kavita and his parents, it was then when Kavita and Vansh came close. While Raj gave Kavita the benefit of doubt for her closeness with Vansh, the entire family knew something was fishy. After Reena and Vansh moved back to India, he was in touch with Kavita and when Raj and Reena got to know about it, they decided to end their respective marriages. It was tough for Raj to let go of his a-month-old daughter and he fought for her custody. At that time, Reena also gave birth to her daughter.

It was in 2019 when Reena Kundra had left behind her past completely and moved on in life by marrying the love of her life, Anshul. Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra were happiest seeing Reena giving love another chance after a terrible experience with her first marriage. Congratulating Reena, Shilpa had then written, "These pictures are the most heartwarming and encouraging..
