Whether it’s an Indian or a Western-style wedding, finding the right wedding outfit which makes you feel like a bride comes with a lot of considerations. The most crucial aspect that one considers while deciding on their wedding outfit is the colour of the dress. The age-old Indian tradition of a bride wearing a red lehenga-choli has changed. With the upcoming new designs from the fashion industry every season, it has become even harder to select a wedding dress.
Starting from Anuskha Sharma’s pastel pink lehenga-choli to Rhea Kapoor’s beige outfit, a lot of colours have been trending. With so many options in hand, the bride has to find the perfect colour for the outfit that she wants to dress in. Modern-day brides want to dress unique and become a style statement for others.
Similarly, we found a real bride, who looked exceptionally stunning in her bridal outfit. Bride, Rupal Agrawal decided to become a Sabyasachi Bride, as she donned beautiful ivory coloured lehenga-choli set from the designer's bridal collection. Rupal Agrawal, tied the knot with Saral Jalan. Their wedding took place in Malibu, Los Angeles. Although her wedding did not take place in India, she stuck to her Indian roots and chose to wear the traditional attire Indian brides wear on the day of their wedding.
The Sabyasachi bride wore a unique ivory coloured lehenga, which was heavily embroidered in red and green floral patterns, along with a semi-sleeved blouse. The outfit has broad golden-sequenced borders attached at the ends. Rupal draped two dupattas with her outfit, one on her shoulder and the other one over her head. She paired it with typical Indian style jewellery to complete her look, which included a maang teeka, nath, earnings and a heavy stone studded necklace. The bride looked extremely elegant as she donned a similar coloured Chooda in her hands. In contrast, the groom, Saral Jalan wore a subtle creamish-white sherwani, along with a baby pink pagdi.
Bride, Rupal Agrawal got featured on Sabyasachi’s official Instagram page, “Brides of Sabyasachi”. On seeing the stunning pictures of the bride on the Sabyasachi’s Instagram handle, the comment section got flooded with women asking for the price of the lehenga-choli. It seems like ivory has quickly become the most popular shade amongst modern brides as the cream colour reflects elegance and classiness compared to other colours.
We can also see the bride with her mother and sister-in-law in stunning lehenga-choli sets in a few other pictures. Her mother had donned a flashy golden, and cream coloured lehenga-choli, whereas her sister-in-law can be seen in a red and blue patterned lehenga. The three of them looked alluring in the pictures.
