Ravi Mohan Breaks Silence On His Divorce From Aarti Ravi, And Keneesha Francis, 'Small Mistake Of..'

However, after few months of disconnecting links with Keneesha Francis, Ravi spoke about his time. At an awards show, Ravi shared that he is making a come back in the cinema. For the unversed, Ravi had quit cienma until his divorce was finalised and apologised for his mistake.
Ravi Mohan talked about his recent personal struggle
After breaking down in a press conference at his home, Ravi Mohan attended JFW Achievers Awards. He talked about his future plans related to his career and said that he is turning 46 this year and half of his life has been spent in cinema. He called it a small mistake which has hurt everyone. He accepted that emotions in his personal life forced him to take the decision. He said:
"I am turning 46 this year. 23 divided by 2, half of my life has been spent in cinema. It’s a pity that a small mistake of mine has hurt you all so much. Personal life and professional life are both 50-50 for me, but the emotions in personal life became a bit more."
Ravi clarified that announcing his break was an extremely emotional moment for him. He added that he won't betray his fans anymore and will definitely make a comeback. He further stated that he also won't betray his fans anymore and would come back to cinema. He expressed gratitude for the people who loved him and gave him confidence that he should come back. He said:
"I was a bit emotional, but everyone in the industry came up to me and said, we’ll accept anything you say. But you must never say you’re not part of cinema again. I apologise to all of them. I also won’t betray my fans anymore. I’ll definitely come back. Your happiness, your kindness, your generosity, I plan to return as Ponniyin Selvan or Karathey Babu. To all those who gave me this confidence, I bow my head in gratitude."
Ravi also addressed his mental breakdown in May during the press conference and stated that it was good that people are talking about mental health and many contacted me, which makes him feel happy.

For the unversed, when Ravi Mohan announced that he was parting ways with his wife, Aarti, in 2024, it turned into a major controversy. Keneeshaa was dragged in their rift and received major backlash from people as she was called a home-breaker. Ravi was married to Aarti in 2009, and after 15 years of marriage, he parted ways.
In 2025, Ravi attended a wedding with Keneesha in matching outfit, which seemed to be a confirmation of their relationship. In May 2026, Keneesha was dragged in another controversy as people thought she made a comment against Aarti. After which, Keneesha quit social media.
On May 15, 2026, Keneeshaa shared a long note on her Instagram handle. She claimed that she walked into this story with a lot of love but walks out of it with silence. Keneeshaa further addressed the film industry and stated that those who like and dislike him can have him completely. Later, Ravi held a press conference and stated that he entered marriage against his parents will and he was paying the price for that.
