The time when you first experienced your heartbreak or the moments when you would come home tired after a long day at work? There was always one person, who proved to be your biggest cheerleader at those times and that special one had the most satisfying words and ways to comfort you. He was, is and will always be your father. The one, who was always there to brighten up your day when you felt low or motivate you to fly, being the secret wings behind your achievements. In a throwback interview with the Cinestaan, Raveena Tandon had spoken proudly about how her father, Ravi Tandon handled his career and the lesson he had taught her, which helped her in becoming who she is today. Raveena had said, “I’m so proud of the way my dad handled his career. He was known to be a versatile director. He could handle comedies like Khel Khel Mein and he could even do films like Jawab and Majboor which were psychological thrillers. He was known as a gentleman director. Even now when I met Ashaji [Asha Parekh], Waheedaji [Waheeda Rehman] or Moushmiji, they have got such amazing things to say about him always. Chintuji has remained a friend of his for a very long time.”
Speaking of how she always wanted to make a name for herself in the industry on her own and never expected her father to launch her, Raveena Tandon had continued, “In fact, he taught me how to be self-made, if you really ask me. I never expected him to launch me.” (Also Read: Babil Khan Reveals His Parents Late Irrfan Khan And Sutapa Sikdar Always Disregarded Valentine's Day)
