The gorgeous diva of the 90s, Raveena Tandon can still make anyone’s heart skip a beat with her oh-so-stunning looks. This beautiful actress had added oomph to every song of hers, the mere mention of the song, Tip Tip Barsa Paani from the film, Mohra is the perfect example of the same. Raveena had met her dream man, Anil Thadani during a business meeting. After a courtship of a few months, Anil had proposed Raveena and the two had gotten engaged in a low-key ceremony. On February 22, 2004, Raveena and Anil had tied the knot in traditional Punjabi and Sindhi style weddings and had begun their happily-ever-after.
Raveena Tandon has inspired millions when she had adopted her cousin’s daughters, Chhaya and Pooja at the age of 21 and had given them her last name ‘Tandon’. Apart from her two adopted daughters, Raveena has two biological kids, Ranbir and Rasha Thadani. The doting mommy of four has always given glimpses of her camaraderie with her kids through her social media handles. Raveena has nailed the art of motherhood and we totally love her bond with her kids.
Raveena, who is a hands-on mom is also a dutiful daughter too. On May 13, 2021, she took to her IG handle and penned a heartmelting birthday wish for her mom, Veena Tandon. Sharing an array of throwback pictures with her, Raveena revealed why she can never surpass the beauty of her mother. Her wish can be read as “You’ve given me your best, but I still will never surpass the beauty That you are, inward and out… you made me and gave me all, I love you mom! Happy birthday! #veenatandon #13thMay2021.”
A few days back, Raveena had shared a throwback picture of herself from Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh’s wedding on her IG handle. Raveena was a teenager when she had attended Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh's wedding. Posing with an ear-to-ear smile, Raveena had captioned this gem as "Found a gem. A tad too late though. Thank you @juuhithesoniibabbar for finding this pic. Chintu uncle kept asking me for this pic to put in his autobiography. And somehow I had lost the original. Found it .so that’s me standing with chintu uncle, at his wedding. Wish I'd gotten it a bit earlier. Nonetheless it is treasure for me. #treasuredmemories @neetu54."
In a throwback interview with SpotboyE, Raveena had discussed her motherhood journey. Talking about her equation with her adopted daughters, Chhaya and Pooja, Raveena had said, “We discussed everything under the sun. From boyfriends, crushes, my life- good or bad. I told them learn from my mistakes, I told them whatever was happening in my life. Got them ready for the reality, never sugar coated the world to them.”
When asked, how she managed her daughters when they were growing up, Raveena had shared the late-night culture that she has at her home. "I have given my daughters the freedom of keeping the company they want, but have always told them, whoever is coming to drop you home, should come upstairs and meet me."
