Indian singer-songwriter, Raveena Mehta tied the knot with the love of her life Saaket Mehra in a grand wedding ceremony. However, it was her wedding day look that left us stunned. Every girl wants to wear a grand wedding outfit that leaves every jaw dropped. And so was the case with Raveena and her wedding day outfit took four years to be made.
Over the years, wedding fashion has evolved. More and more brides are ditching the red lehengas and donning unique colours. From pastels to olive greens, blue and whatnot, brides love following their hearts and not worrying about the world. They strive to make their wedding a memorable affair, and we love how Indian brides are ruling the world. And Raveena Mehta's wedding look gave us major fashion inspiration.
The bride, Raveena Mehta got married to US-based investor, Saaket Mehta in a dreamy wedding ceremony at Rambagh Palace Jaipur, Rajasthan. The couple has been in seven years of a long-distance relationship and got married in 2022. Pictures and videos of her wedding have been making rounds on the internet. However, it was Raveena's wedding day outfit that left our jaws dropped.
Raveena wore a custom-made ivory-hued ensemble which featured 16 kali lehenga skirt. Her outfit was integrated with every type of Indian embroidery. A fun fact, it took four years for the entire lehenga to be made. Another interesting detail about Raveena Mehta's lehenga is that under the layers of it, the designer placed pictures of the couple and a beautiful message from her mother.
For the wedding day, Raveena's look was accentuated with diamond jewellery. She picked a diamond necklace with ruby drops, matching earrings, a diamond nath and a matha patti.
Her pristine white look was accentuated with a red two-layered mala. Soft makeup with glittery pink eyes, highlighted cheeks and lush pink lipstick completed her bridal look. On the other hand, her groom twinned with Raveena and donned a sherwani with a matching turban and kalgi.
We loved Raveena's wedding day look and the way her lehenga was personalised with her family pictures hidden in the layers of her lehenga skirt!
