Popular actress, Akanksha Puri is best known for her role as 'Goddess Parvati' in Vighnaharta Ganesh. On August 26, 2023, Akanksha turned 35. Undoubtedly, she celebrated her day with her close friends and hosted a grand birthday celebration for them. The glimpses from the Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame's birthday bash are simply unmissable. However, what caught our attention was Akanksha's best friends and exes, Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu attending the birthday bash together and having a blast of enjoyment.
For celebrating her 35th birthday, Akanksha Puri dolled up in a tangerine dress and was seen partying her heart out with her friends from the industry. For the party, she wore a pretty orange dress with a deep plunging neckline. She paired it with metallic shoes and minimal accessories. She completed her look with a side-parting ponytail and dewy makeup, including defined brows, glittery eyeshadow, winged eyes and glossy lipstick.

Akanksha Puri's many close friends from the industry attended her birthday bash, including the ex-couple, Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu along with Aamir Ali, Palak Purswani, Umar Riaz, Vishal Aditya Singh, Roshni Walia and Ali Mercchant among others. For the party, Rashami looked stunning in a green-hued dress paired with subtle makeup. On the other hand, Nandish looked dapper in a black t-shirt.
For the unversed, Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu had tied the knot in 2012, but soon there were reports of troubles in the newlyweds’ paradise. Afterwards, they got divorced in 2016, and many people blamed Rashmi for her over-possessiveness for their broken marriage. And finally, in an interview with Missmalini.com, Rashami had opened up about her ugly divorce with Nandish. Calling it Nandish's PR's strategy to put all the blame on her, Rashami had said:
“You know there’s a website called India Forums. They’ve been handling Nandish’s PR and I don’t have a problem but they’ve been giving one-sided stories from Nandish’s end. I’ve never felt the need to explain myself or my relationship to anyone – but there are all sorts of rumours that pin point me and claim that Nandish is completely innocent. In a marriage, I know it is two people’s responsibility, but my relationship was always abusive. India Forums is making it super ugly. They’re only printing one-sided articles about him giving his 100%, when it’s just not true. What are you trying to prove? It’s false information."

Further, in the same conversation, Rashami stated that people wondered why she left their house. She added having problems for three years of her marriage with Nandish and how she was always thrown out of their house. She had mentioned:
"We’ve had problems for three years now. Why did I leave the house? I’ve never spoken about this – but mujhe humesha ghar se nikala jaataa! If he gave his 100% yeh cheezein hoti hi nahi na.”
