Television actor, Raqesh Bapat and Bollywood actress, Shamita Shetty's growing closeness inside Bigg Boss OTT has become the talk of the town. Naturally, everyone wants to know what's brewing between the two contestants. While every season of Bigg Boss is famous for budding love stories, it looks like this season is no different. Also, Raqesh and Shamita's growing fondness is making them one of the perfect love birds.
For the unversed, Raqesh Bapat was earlier married to Ridhi Dogra. The duo had tied the knot on May 29, 2011. However, Raqesh and Ridhi had parted ways in 2019. They had released a joint statement confirming their separation. However, while they have parted ways, they still choose to be each other's best friends.

Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Raqesh Bapat's sister, Shalini Bapat, opened up on her brother's growing closeness with Shamita Shetty. The start sister shared that she. thinks they look cute together. Shalini also shared that their equation also looks good together.

Shalini further added Raqesh's family's reaction when they found out about his decision to enter Bigg Boss. She said, "Raqesh is a reserved person, and he is someone who doesn’t like to be around too many people. Also, we all never watched Bigg Boss, and all that we had heard was that a lot of fights happen inside the house. And my brother is someone who loves to be at peace. We wondered how he would even survive and adjust to all that? We felt that probably by the time he would understand what was happening, the fight will be over! But seeing him like this is new for us all, and we are all loving it."
Coming back to Raqesh and Ridhi's divorce. Sharing a joint statement, the ex-couple had stated, "Yes, we are living separately. However, this decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families. We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin."
On the work front, Raqesh is enjoying his stint inside the Bigg Boss OTT!
