It was during his stint that the handsome hunk's chemistry with Bollywood actress, Shamita Shetty had become the talk of the town. Recently, Raqesh opened up on his relationship with Shamita.
Ever since fans witnessed Raqesh and Shamita's adorable chemistry on the reality show, they have been waiting for love to blossom between them and gush over them. From day one, Raqesh Bapat and Shamita Shetty had chosen each other. In their topsy-turvy journey inside the house, they had a lot of differences, yet they stood beside each other like a pillar. And now that they are out of the house, they are trying to know each other well and are spending some quality time.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, the 42-year-old actor, Raqesh Bapat spilt the beans on his equation with Shamita Shetty and also talked if he has plans to make his relationship official. When Raqesh was asked if he and Shamita are taking things slowly, he refuted and said, ''Oh my God, no way! Right now, there’s nothing. It’s a very good bond, and we’re just cherishing that. We don’t want to put ourselves under any pressure or in any situation. If things have to happen organically, let it happen organically.''
Talking about the future, Raqesh told the publication that if there is something between him and Shamita, more than friendship, then he is not going to hide it. He added, ''If there’s anything in the future, we’re not going to be quiet about it. Everybody will know about it.'' He further revealed that he is aware of all the speculations regarding his relationship but he did not confirm anything.

For the unversed, Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat's closeness was first witnessed by the audience, when he had flirted with her for the first time on the show. As they had shared a bed, Shamita was seen asking him to go to his bed as Raqesh had started teasing and flirting with the actress. In the hilarious video, the other co-contestants of the house could be seen bursting into laughter at their fun banter and their cutesy chemistry was quite evident.
After coming out of the Bigg Boss house, Raqesh and Shamita had gone out on a date for the first time to Shamita's sister, Shilpa Shetty Kundra's restaurant, Bastian. This had made netizens wonder that they are thinking of taking their relationship forward. Taking to his IG handle, Raqesh had shared a picture on his IG stories with his fingers entangled into Shamita's fingers. Atop the picture, he had written, ''U and I," with a red heart emoji and a hashtag that could be read as '#ShaRa'.''

On the work front, Shamita Shetty is going to be a part of Bigg Boss season 15, while Raqesh is still thinking about it.
