On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is known for his extremely charismatic self. And both SRK and Ranveer are often spotted showing their pure bonding on various public appearances. Now, it was proved once again in an old video of the duo, wherein SRK can be seen showing his hilarious self to encourage the once-newbie actor, Ranveer.
An old video featuring Ranveer Singh alongside Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor from an award ceremony was recently posted on Reddit. At the beginning of the video, Karan Johar can be seen announcing, "Ranveer Singh for Band Baaja Baaraat". Soon, Ranveer can be seen rushing towards the stage and is honoured with the beautiful award. Following this, Ranveer got highly emotional and delivered a gratitude-filled speech. He can be quoted as saying:
"Sorry guys, bit overwhelming. I want to be an actor since I was a little kid and I'm here today, sharing the stage with these people, it's really surreal. And thank you Adi sir, for believing in me, this is for the team of Band Baaja Baaraat. You guys are really special, mom - dad, my sister Ritika, everything I do, I do to make you guys proud. Thank you very much. Ladies and gentleman I promise you, there's a lot more to come."

Afterwards, as Ranveer walked towards the exit point of the stage, Shah Rukh congratulated him, and Karan Johar said, "I called you as well." Following this, while Ranveer was seen wiping his tears, Shah Rukh showed his hilarious self and said a few things to encourage the then-newbie actor, Ranveer. Afterwards, Ranveer was also seen hugging Karan, SRK and Shahid. SRK's words can be heard as:
"Ruk jana, kaha jaa raha hai, idha aa nah yaar, ek minute yaar, baat toh suun meri, ro kyun raha hai yaar, rona toh ab humein chahiye, tu aa gaya hai, ab humara kya hoga yaar, tu kyun aagaya hai industry mein. Gaalein lag humare. Humko thoda pyaar de. Aur hum tujhe bataye."
As soon as the video was posted on Reddit, netizens rushed to laud Shah Rukh Khan's attitude towards the then-newbie actor, Ranveer Singh. While one user wrote, "Loved how SRK tried to comfort him knowing he is nervous and overwhelmed", another user penned, "Shahrukh has always hyped every newcomer. It's very sweet this & ranveer saying "Humne unke mall m ek choti dukan kholi h" are my fav 2 moments of srk ranveer."

On August 9, 2023, actor-filmmaker-producer, Farhan Akhtar shared the teaser of his much-awaited film, Don 3, and introduced Ranveer Singh as the franchise's new face. The teaser featured Ranveer, who looked stunning in a leather jacket and boots. He was seen smoking a cigarette before facing the camera and introducing himself as 'Don'.
